I was referred to Via by Whirlpool to fix the ice maker on our refrigerator. After 4 separate technician visits and multiple parts costing over $550, the issue was still not resolved. The technician then told me that I would need to spend another $200 for a different part. When I called to submit a complaint and request a refund, Carly assured me that she would speak to her manager and get back to me. It has been over a week and I have still not received an update. Horrible customer service and no issue resolution. What a SCAM.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Been waiting for over 4 months for my brand new Jenn Air freezer to be fixed. They came out in January ordered a part. Part didn't work as I told them on site. They say they need to replace the hinges. Order 1 hinge and go ohh sorry we need another hinge so we need to order that. Parts come in a month goes by then they schedule. Then day of after 115 days without a freezer they go sorry we can't make it today. And reschedule me for another two weeks out. I call back and they just go ohh sorry. They are a piss poor company.

Absolute trash. I'd give a -5 if I could. We have a new fancy schmancy kitchen-aid fridge/freezer still under warranty that went on the fritz. I called the protection plan company through Best Buy who connected us to whirlpool who directed us to Via. They told me they couldn't get a tech out to our house for a MONTH. We waited a MONTH with a partially working fridge. THEN, we they finally came out, the tech was nice, but he was there for at least 6 hours, gutted the machine, supposedly fixed it, but in actuallity, broke the thing, so now it doesn't even work period. We waited 24 hours as recommended only to have the thing make some sort of grinding type noise for several hours, then not working at all. I had to call VIA to schedule an appointment for a tech to come out. We had to wait ANOTHER 2 WEEKS for a tech to come out only to fix the drawers. I had to tell him the thing doesn't work at all. He comes in, installs some parts the previous tech said we needed for the drawers to function properly, but refused to service it because it had been unplugged. WHAAAAT? Are you kidding me? What are we supposed to do? Leave a broken appliance plugged in for 2 weeks sucking up electricity? What if it caught fire and burnt our house down? Will Via pay to have our home rebuilt? I doubt it. If I could choose my own repair company, it for SURE wouldn't be VIA. VIA can go suck a lemon because that's what we got from their service and we STILL don't have a working fridge.
