I would give the company a zero if I could, but its not an option. A service repairman came out to fix my new dryer. A Maytag/ Whirlpool problem. The dryer was initially drying some but not like it should. When he finished he didnt do anything. He ordered a thermostat and a timer. He also gave service date to return Monday 11/2425.. We called cause it wa getting late in the day and no one showed. Then the company said no record of anyone returning today. It would be next Monday when the paper work said 11/24, and not 12/01.. Then a representative called and said we will come out Friday 11/28 but we cant give you a time . We will call 1st . This company shouldnt be in repair business. This sites has many reviews of them not honoring their service appointment dates. Honestly ********* partnered with them for a reason . Birds of the same feather flock together. My dryer was brand new at purchase and it hasnt been 30 days so why does it need a timer and a thermomstat??? And my Whirlpool told me oh its a store issue. The store didnt make this dryer. ********* partnered with ****** . I have a Maytag dryer and Whirlpool says they cant do anything else to help me!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER MAYTAG OR WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCE. These companys who quick to take money when youre purchasing but never fix issues that belong to them, never last!! I would give ********* AND VIA APPLIANCE REPAIR A ZERO but its not an option!!

Tech was nice. Alex was his name. Machine was unstable and needed a new transmission. Tech came and replaced the transmission and a bunch of parts. He ran it through a diagnostic and told me it was ready. When I tried to use it, the water level kept rising and overflowed all over my floor. When I called them back, they said he had told them that he tested it. That was not correct. As a matter of fact, it would be impossible, He was only there an hour and a wash cycle takes an hour to complete. Now I have to wait over two weeks to have them come out just to look at a problem they didn’t fix? Not happy at all.

My washing machine broke. I called Whirlpool. They sent me to Via Services. It took 5 days for the repair person to come to my house. He was nice but he could not fix my machine. He ordered a part. He said it would take 4-5 days to come in. He also said that I would get a call the very next day telling me when a technician would be scheduled to come install the part. No one called me (shocking!). I called them. An agent named Jel said my part was not in. She said she couldn't schedule me until my part came. She said once the part came in, I would be given priority scheduling. She also said she would check with her dispatch people and call me back later the same day to tell me the status of my part. She did not call me back (shocking!). I called the next day. I talked to an agent named Renee (at least it sounded like Renee but I am pretty sure it was a man). This agent said my part was in and the soonest he could schedule a technician was 11 days from now. I said Jel told me I would be given priority scheduling. He said something about how he understands the urgency but scheduling the repair 11 days from now is the best he can do. I have already been without a washing machine for 10 days and now I have to wait another 11. Not happy. Also, why didn't anyone call me to say my part had come in? Why did I have to call myself to find that out? This company lies and breaks promises and cannot handle the demand, even if the technician was nice and even if they do eventually fix my stupid washing machine. Boo hiss.

When I first started using VIA for my dishwasher, they were great! When I needed them for my washing machine, I ended up calling the manufacturer. After many attempts to contact them, I discovered that they used VIA also. An acquaintence recommended a local person who showed up the next day for my washing machine. He checked it thoroughly and advised that the problem was age but still quite usable for a while. He suggested that I keep using it until it died as new washers are not as well made. Noticing my microwave was stashed temporarly in the kitchen. I told him something was not working right. He replied he would return in early December to check it out and determine if it could be repaired or not. I dropped VIA for having to wait longer time for service and unable to contact them. Also, he was less expensive than the monthly payments going out to VIA
My experience is to advise to find someone local, more accessable and less expensive.

This is by far the worst appliance service organization and technician I have ever encountered. Instead of addressing the issues with my brand-new microwave, the technician chose to lecture me on how to close the microwave door and offered a workaround for getting it to function when it displays the "close door and then press start" message. I strongly advise against using this organization for any of your appliance repair needs. It's unfortunate that Whirlpool has them handling their service calls. Too bad I can't give a zero star rating
