Cooling fan went out on my Kitchenaid oven. Jerome diagnosed and resolved quickly. He is an amazing and professional representative for Via Appliance Repair. Made sure I was aware of all issues and time to resolve. Thank you so much Jerome!
Our Via technician (Jason) arrived on time, systematically diagnosed our KitchenAid refrigerator's freezer cooling problem, located the issue, and repaired it at minimum cost, restoring its function to spec. We're totally satisfied. Great job!
The service technician was awesome Andrew explained what he was going to do and did so in record time! It wasn't a major issue, yet I appreciate the time and effort he took to explain things that I asked or didn't. Thanks folks at VIA appliance for fixing my ice maker.
Buckle up, this is about be a long one. VIA Appliance is the absolute WORST company I have ever encountered in my life. If you want to deal with a company who doesn’t care about you, doesn’t do what they say they’re going to do, lies through their teeth, and then does absolutely nothing to fix the problem, then they might be the company for you. I had them come out per Maytag for a dryer repair. The technician tells me my 2 year old dryer which I spent $900 on will take between $300-$500 to repair (including their $140 diagnostic fee). He gives me the option to decline the appointment, so I do and I call Maytag and speak with a very nice man who offers to cover the cost of the diagnostic fee and schedules for VIA to come back out the following week. Directly after hanging up with Maytag, I call VIA just to confirm what I was told by Maytag. The representative says that because the ticket was just put through, they won’t be able to see the details for another 30-60 mins but assures me that she can see where it was generated, just can’t do anything with it until it processes. She tells me there is no need for me to do anything else. She will notate my account and make sure everything is taken care of. Fast forward to the following week and the day of my appointment. The same technician shows up and before starting, asks me about the diagnostic fee. I tell him it is supposed to be waived and he tells me it doesn’t show that in his system. I ask him to look in the notes. Nothing. He makes a quick phone call and apparently finds nothing showing that my diagnostic fee is waived. I tell him I will call Maytag and get it straightened out but he says there is nothing he can do and leaves. Mind you, not even 5 mins has passed. He couldn’t even give me the courtesy of 5 mins to try and get this straightened out. So I call Maytag back and they have it fixed in less than ten mins. They assure me once again that everything will be covered this time, including parts and labor, and the diagnostic fee and they schedule another appointment with VIA for the following week. I call VIA to confirm and they tell me the same thing as last time “30 mins to an hour and we should be able to process this ticket” We are going on 3 weeks without a dryer at this point. Wednesday rolls around and I hear nothing from VIA, so I call them. They ONCE AGAIN, tell me they have nothing in their system for me. Not an appointment, not an authorization, nothing. They in fact tell me my ticket has been closed completely. I am livid and the man I’m speaking to does absolutely nothing but taunt me and keep repeating the same thing, saying he sees nothing in his system and Refuses to get help from a supervisor. So I hang up and call Maytag again. They tell me it was there the entire time and they don’t know why VIA can’t see it on their end. Finally, they schedule me with a different company called Kelley appliance. My dryer is fixed within 2 days, free of charge, and Kelly communicated with me the ENTIRE time. If you got this far, please beware of ever dealing with this company. They will rip you off charging you more to fix your appliance than it’s worth, the technicians only care about getting home before 4:30, and their customer service SUCKS. If you’re going through a warranty, request a different company. I promise you won’t regret it.
