Inspected under unit found slider ring halfway off of slider and signs of gearcase oil leaking. Called tech line and spoke with rep, said F6E3 from overload condition. Replaced slider, ran diagnostic cycle, cylce completed, but unit made very loud noise when shifting from agitate to spin. Advised cx to avoid using unit until gearcase is replaced. "cx complaint is the unit taking hours to cool down and at one point powering off on its own causing time and date to be wrong. unit was on when i arrived and both ovens were room temp. time and date were wrong. i checked for codes and found F6E4 UI to control state status. cleared code and ran each oven for a short time. unit worked properly, no code returns. unit is not connected to wifi. called techline to document, they had me check door gaskets, run cooling fans. advised not replacing any parts unless F6E4 returns. said to replace both boards at the same time if error returns. advised having cx connecto to wifi to fix time/date issue. gave cx SR# and IT dept number. unit is working as designed."

"CX complaint long time to dry clothes.Cx pulled the dryer out and broke the vent pipe. She asked me to replaced it but I explained that we don't carry this part.Ran diag, no errors. Ran a timed dry cycle on high temp. Using thermocouple got temp cycling between 121F and 157F at the exhaust. Got 2 times power faillure message on the display with no reason and also the display turned blank on e time when I opened the door. Ran a timed dry cycle with a piece of wet paper towel on the sensor bars. The cycle ended in about 20 minutes and the paper was dry. Inspected the unit. Found that the cx has gotten a letter stating that there is a Service Pointer on the Dishwasher Heater Element. Checked the Heater Element. Heater Element has the Black Coupler Bushings. Installed new Heater Element. Tested the unit. No leaks. Unit is working as Designed. Called Whirlpool safety Team Ref # 7735122184. Cx has Damages done to the house. Per Whirlpool Safety Team they will send a Damages sheet and contact the cx. ( Technical service pointer W11540964 - Special Project S17304. )

Arrived today unplugged unit and removed old control board replaced with new reinstall all parts in powered up unit set time and tested microwave light. It now works on high and low. "CX complaint: Unit stops cooling then freezes up. they have to thaw out the unit every few weeks to get it to workInspected unit, confirmed CX complaint, CX had Water laying all over the floor from the unit defrosting. Inspected evap harnass, found brown wire for defrost heater backed out. Cx complaint is that the unit is not starting a cycle or filling with water. Upon arrvial I found an F7E1. I then ran the diag cycle and found that the unit is filling and draining but the basket is not moving during agitation or spin. I then tipped the unit back and found that the shield had worked its way loose from the gearcase and was laying on the floor. I caused the belt to slip off of the drive assembly. I was able to put the belt back on and resecure the cover. i then tested the unit and found that it is now functioning as intended. Job complete

"Cx complaint unit is not making ice. I jumped out T and H on ice maker, water valve did not cycle. Tested resistance with meter, read 1.5 ohms, new valve read 188 ohms. Ice maker valve being out of spec could cause ice making/leaking issues. Replaced ice maker and water valve, jumped T and H to start harvest cycle, ice maker harvested and filled. Unit is now working properly."
