He wants the UI and control replaced at the same time. If the unit continues to have defrost issues it will be processed as non repairable. Unit will not work properly even if defrost issue is resolved because unit is in garage. This will not cause a defrost issue though. CX complaint knobs on oven get too hot. Call Techline and discussed with them and found I needed to perform heat soak test on unit. Set unit to 400°. Once unit hit 400° set a timer for one hour. Left and went to another job and came back within the hour once arrived used infrared heat gun to check temperatures on the face of unit and on knobs. temps at knobs were temperature on knob skirt was 113° all other temperatures that I could check. Were also In spec. CX was also concerned about the unit turning off and turning on she was not aware that that is now how the units work and that there is a safety on the door switch to turn the flame off and come back on after two minutes. Tested functionality of unit. Unit is working as designed job complete

Customer complaint unit is not completing a cycle and the light is staying on wash. I tested the unit and found no error codes and the unit is completing a test cyckle. I found the CX is using the original tide soap. And the cold water is very low. I adviced the cusotemr to only use HE detergent and the water to be turned open all the way. The customer stated they had the water like that so they can get warm water. I explained to the cusotmer taht the unit being HE it will have read the water temps coming in and adjust to the temps that will save the most energy. I told her the unit will not get hot and at best a little bit hight than rom temps. But that how the unit workes. I ran a rinse and sping and completed agitating and draining and spinning. Unit is good.

"cx complaint received notice saying unit needs service. inspected unit and verified complaint. serial# in range of service pointer for heater replacement. asked if unit has leaked, cx said he not sure and showed me some water damage in cabinet under sink, pic saved. doesnt seem like its from dishwasher. pulled unit out and can see some water stains on cutout floor. noticed a bunch of streaks on back wall of cutout, pics saved. no signs unit has leaked from heater. replaced heater and tested. no leaks from unit at this time. advised cx it seems the windows may be leaking but advised him to call a handy man to find cause of water damage since it doesnt appear to be from dishwasher. cx understands. unit is now working properly"

"Cx complaint unit is not making ice. I jumped out T and H on ice maker, water valve did not cycle. Tested resistance with meter, read 1.5 ohms, new valve read 188 ohms. "Cx complained the unit would shut off during bake. Inspected the unit and found that it does shut off within seconds of being in bake and other times, taking several min before shutting off. At the control, there is a constant 110vac when shutting off. Checked wires and there aren't any broken. C hecked in broil setting and it didn't turn off. Checked the bake element and it has 16ohms. Fixed the neutral wire at the control and tested again and when it goes out, there is not 120v from L1 to N, and N to L2 has 240v and L2 to L1 has 240v. Cx now needs electrician. Job complete"

Cx complaint is that the unit is not starting a cycle or filling with water. Upon arrvial I found an F7E1. I then ran the diag cycle and found that the unit is filling and draining but the basket is not moving during agitation or spin. I then tipped the unit back and found that the shield had worked its way loose from the gearcase and was laying on the floor. I caused the belt to slip off of the drive assembly. I was able to put the belt back on and resecure the cover. i then tested the unit and found that it is now functioning as intended. Job complete
