Inspected the unit and found there is no hot water going to the appliance, cx admits the hot water heater is busted and he thought he could just wash on cold. Customer complaint is the unit is freezing food on the top shelf of the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and found items pushed back over the shelf on all three of the top shells and the fourth lower shelf drawer. Right away I could see that their items that were blocking airflow and I showed customer there's a little sticker on the back wall it said that if you block this airflow it could it affect temperatures or freeze items in these areas. Customer stated that regardless if there's food in the refrigerator or not then the temperature is still within freezing areas. I found temperature set to 37°. I adjusted the temperature in the refrigerator to 41° f. I use temperature coupler on top shelf in between items and had a temperature of 34° f and this is after adjusting the temperature. I also inspected dent and took pictures of dent that was supposedly done by our company but don't understand how the dent got on the inner door.. I try to instruct customer on keeping these airflow areas clear because it will freeze food and cause poor temperatures. Customer stated that the temperature is colder at the top of the fridge then towards the bottom of the fridge. I explained the reason why is because the air flow is being blocked by the items that are pushed over the back of the shelf. I then called tech line and documented what I found. Tech line advised me that by turning the refrigerator temperature up this could change the temperature for that section. I ran test 3 for damper operation damper is open and closing. Test one and two both passed. I changed test 7 to 02 for basic defrost. Customer stated what can they do to find this because right now the temperature is lower than what it's set to. I advise customer that temperatures will fluctuate as cooling and defrost settings are in active modes. Where refrigerator can fluctuate from 41 to 40 to degrees and as low as 34° plus or minus 5°. The only thing I could do or suggest at this time is to put data loggers in the unit. Customer is also under the impression that we had already received the door. I called the office and found that the door has not been received yet and we were there for the temperature issue. Ordering data loggers. We can either go out with data loggers or when the door is received. To see what the freezing situation in these areas are. I'm suggesting to data loggers for the refrigerator section. Data loggers need to be inserted on the top shelf and middle shelf area to see what the fluctuation points are.; ordrng 2 Dataloggers (Data loggers)s and 1 Look (Look)

Cx complaint unit is making a gurgle noise in FC. Arrived today and inspected unit. Found RC and FC to be cooling properly. Cx stated they had videos for me to listen to. Listened to a few videos and the noise sounded to me that either the water from the evap was beeping melted and hitting defrost heater. Or sounded like fluid running through the cap tube. While at home the noise never happened. The unit was making normal operation noises. The noise is odd that recorded on phone. But there is no sign of operation failure. Explained to Cx to call whirlpool customer care and give them the SR number that had been provided on previous visits. At this point we cannot do anything to fix this noise because it cannot be heard while we are here. Unit is working as designed job complete

Cx complaint that the unit is making loud noise at the beginning of the cycles. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. The cx had a video as well. I ran a service test cycle and all components passed but the noise was hear when the unit spun then reverse direction as if it were sensing. I checked underneath and removed the splutch and found signs of friction. I replaced the splutch and tested the unit for the cx. The unit is working as designed.

Cx complaint unit is not working at all. Inspected unit. Found fuse open on board. Replaced fuse. Unit still does not power on. Ordering display board and module. Cx paid in full. Display board 3 at upper marlboro and 0 at whirlpool.; ordrng 1 W10857232 (module cbe) and 1 WPW10396615 (display board cbe)

"came out to resolve the issue. disassembled the unit as needed. tried to add insulation, tighten compressor bolts, and checked pressures. unit is good to go. advised cx if the noise is still made to call us back but as of rn the unit seems to be cooling like it should and sound normal. unit is running as designed."

Cx complaint unit has power but no display. Arrived today and inspected. Found unit unplugged when I arrived. Plugged unit in and lid lock turned on then off. Pressed power and nothing was displayed. Could not get unit into diagnostic mode. Removed console and replaced control with pre Id part. Powered back on and still no response. Left ui disconnected and unplugged unit. Ordering a few parts for return visit that way next visit job is complete ; ordrng 1 W11478526 (Pane ui) and 1 W11596129 (Harness ui) and 1 W11394572 (Lid latch)

i was able to access unit and replace the control and moisture harness as per previous tech. tested unit and found unit now checks good.

"Cx complained the unit did not make ice and there were no lights. Inspected the unit and found the unit thought the doors were open. The middle shelf has switches in the rear that weren't being pressed due to improper installation of the shelf. Removed and reinstalled and light switches can now be hit by the drawer, the unit now has lilghts and will make ice. Job complete"

"Cs unit is making a loud grinding noise, confirmed complaint. I found the bolt to the splutch has back off and fell off on the floor. I removed splutch and inspected it. Nothing got damaged so I used threadlocker and torqued bolt back in. Tested unit and found unit is now working properly. Collected for svc call."

Installed belt tensioner spring only to find knocking noise coming from motor ordering motor; ordrng 1 W11549461 (Motor) and 1 WP697772 (Blower)
