"cx complaint unit not cooling properly. unit unplugged upon arrival. advised cx that its alot harder to accurately diagnose unit if i cant see frost pattern. tenant is saying the evap was overfrosted. plugged unit in. compressor started running and both fans are running. evap started getting frost. no ice to be able to get good reading on defrost thermistor. advised cx issue is more than likely in thermistor but cant bee 100% sure. cx said replace it anyway. replaced defrost thermistor. tested unit. advised cx to monitor and call back if issues persist. quoted 313.77, paid in full with c/c."

I found shut off valves are leaking. unit needs inlet valve, but cx needs to replace water valves before we can replace inlet valve. cold water valve is still leaking water into tub due to the water not being able to shut off. Tested for power from the interlock switches to the microwave appliance manager and found steady power from the interlocks, but not from the neutral side. Inspection of the neutral side found the cavity thermostat burnt out and part of the harness to the thermostat bubbled. Interlock assembly w/ thermostat replaced and unit retested. Removed spray arms to find that they are seperating as well causing issues. Due to spray arms hardly moving and seperating water is hitting the door in the same spot causing it to splash out. came out and replaced parts. started with drain pump then harness then control. powered unit on and did reset 5 times and tried DLMS cycle and unit would not start. checked all plugs and wires. tries starting normal cycle and unit kept saying shut lid. lids shut and latch good. lock is not locking. tried replacing consol before that and it would go through steps and after last step unit wouldnt power on. put o;d one back on. tested and checked and 2 parts needed. fixed other issues and nothing burning or sparking. when unit shorted must of took lock out. plenty of both parts and advised cx for all the troubles office will see what they can do to rush them back on the schedule.; ordrng 1 W11395618 (Capacitor) and 1 W11394572 (Lid Lock)

cx has has a few issues with unit. said door gaskets are tearing and things in fridge are freezing in a few spots. units O-O-W and she knows. took temp readings first of -2 in freezer and 31 in fridge. unit set to 0 and 38. both door gaskets are torn. went over door closing and right door needs to be open when closing left door. damper is making a grinding sound and not closing as air keeps coming in when doors are open. went over unit with cx. she just wants damper replaced as shes not paying that much for gaskets. replaced damper and now its quiet and working. advised cx to give unit a day or 2 so temps will adjust and things thaw out a bit. job complete.

"Cx complaint is that shortly after the last repair the unit started tripping the breaker again. I verified that the unit was not on an arc fault breaker. I then reset the power and found that the compressor was running with a loud hum. I removed the panel and found that a previous company has wired the harness directly to the compressor and removed the start device and run cap. I called TL and spoke to Rich. I informed him about the issue. He recommended replace the harness, FC evap heater and start device. Cx stated that the humming noise and cooling issue started before the other company serviced the unit. I am also ordering the compressor and drier. Please contact cx when the parts are avialable to schedule the return visit. Put unit through diagnostic test, to which it passed. cleared error code and retested unit, code did not reappear. Unit element is measuring 9.9 ohms, unit motor is not shorted. Unit is recieving 240V ac to unit, and to element. thermal fuse shows 0 ohms, tco shows 0 ohms. Ordering control and high limit thermostat for return visit. Replaced door latch per prior diagnosis. did not fix issue however according to CX its better than it was. However when oven heats up it pops door open and light comes on and ignitor shuts off. You have to press the door firmly against the gasket for light to go off and the unit reignites. I pressed on seal and it was working. Seal seems to be a little deformed. Ordering gasket and retainer. Cannot reschedule due to FBO parts needed. Negative in OS; ordrng 1 W11115330 (gasket) and 1 W11362015 (retainer)

FOllowed up line and found unit leaking from within cabinet where the heat exchanger and return line meet top of cabinet. Burnt/charged black oil all over top of compressor cabinet. Took pics and sent to WPTL. Ed was the 2nd tech I spoke to and sent more pics and he determined the unit leaking from heat exchanger. Uppn arrival I attempted to replace the axle and roller on right side but could not get the axle far enough out because of the drip pan. Put original back together. I inspected roller and it did not seem to be defective. Returning parts. Placed shims under unit and had no luck with leveling unit to CX satisfaction. i did find the bottom plate of unit to be hanging down and wheat looks like it may have been dropped. Ran cycle and inspected and found sump motor or any parts under unit are not leaking. Inspected door seal And found it was a little worn out.
