cx complaint is the unit arching inside. when i arrived wave guid covers were damaged. i removed the upper cover beings it was the more damaged of the 2. i found the metal behind that cover to be discolored with white marks. i used a mirror and light ot look up at the mag tube. it is burnt and melted on the tip. wave guide has black marks on it near the mag tube. i called techline to document. they had me send them pictures of the damage. they said unit is nonrepairable and said safety dept would be in contact with cx. gave cx SR#.

"cx complaint unit wasnt heating and now unit wont run at all. inspected unit and verified complaint. f4e4, f4e3, f4e1 and f3e2 errors stored. getting proper 240v from power supply. found thick lint build up inside unit, vacuumed out lint. noticed idler pulley looks like its about to blow out and its not spinning freely. thermal fuse, thermostats and heater all test good. found motor relay on control is getting 120v going in but nothing coming out. unit will need control, pulley and moisture sensor harness for f3e2 error. quoted cx 490.15. cx paid 120 service call with c/c and declined repair."

Cx complaint is that the unit is making a loud banging noise during spin cycle. Upon arrival I found that the unit has no error codes. i then ran a drain and spin cycle and found that the unit is spinning without major issues. I then found that the agitator has play when pulling up on it. I then tipped the unit back and found that the gear case is leaking oil.
