"Cs unit wont stop making ice, confirmed complaint. Found ice level sensor reading 7k ohms with no ice touching it.Ice was about half inch bellow the sensor. Unit is making ice perfectly. I pilled up the ice on top of the sensor , about 3 minutes later unit stopped making ice thermistor reading 10k ohms . I them put warm water on a rag and warmed up sensor again. "cx complaint the unit is not sealing allowing moisture to build up in freezer. checked the unit and found that the freezer door was not able to close all the way to seal the gasket. therefore, ice is forming inside the freezer at the top corner. this is also allowing moisture to build up on the outside of the ice chute. unit needs a new door to resolve the issue. went ahead and sealed the cabinet so if the door does not fix the issue. than the cabinet itself must be warped not allowing the seal to be performed when shutttingf the door. the door is in a tight space with an island right in front of it. recommend a second tech so i dont damage the unit, new door, or myself while installing the door.; ordrng 1 W11566705 (stainless door) and 1 W11098702 (ice chute)"

"cx complaint is the unit leaking when running. cx said unit drips from front left corner of the door. i felt insulation, its dripping wet. checked for code and found F2E1 as the only saved code. cleared code and inspected door gasket and it didnt look damaged. removed outer door and found insulation on left side is wet but not wet on top, water is not leaking from dispensor onto insulation. i ran service cycle with outer door removed. very quickly i could see water overflowing the lip of the tub on left side. ran another cycle with clear door in place. i found the feed tube was not plugged into the cover on wash motor causing water to spray forward toward the door. once back together i ran unit agian and it did not leak. quoted cx for new feed tube, cover. they paid service call.; ordrng 1 W11245091 (cover) and 1 W10861745 (tube-feed)"

came out to resolve the issue. disassembled as neeeded. replaced all parts and tested the unit. got the pressure to hold at -2. unit is runninng as designed. cx asked me to put the wheels back on the unit his woife had found so it was no longer on a wood 1x2. i did and now the bottom panel cannot be installed. i advsied cx to contact the builders at this time. i cannot simply put the wood back. could potentionally cause damage to the unit or floor. also the unit needs to be on its feet/wheels for access for servcice/cleaning behind it. cx agreed to ask builders what they recommend.

"cx complaint, cx was using the middle burner on simmer and turned it up. when they turned it up it made a loud hissing noise and after a minute or 2 they had black soot on the burner head and cap. unit is on propane. i verified the unit has the correct orfices for LP and regulator is converted. i set unit to simmer and let it run few a minutes or 2 then turned burner up. did that several times but flames look good but black residue started to appear on cap. i wiped it off, seems like soot. i could not replicate the noise issue. i called techine to document, they advised replacing all parts of the middle burner. "Cx complaint dw leaking from the left side.Ran diag, no errors. Pulled unit out from cabinet and ran a test cycle, found loose water inlet nut, and water leaking from there. Tightened nut, the leak stopped. Noticed of water damage on the wooden floor around the dw. Cx didn't say anything about, but I documented it by taking pictures. Found also the dw insulation shield damaged by the water. Ordering insulation shield W11553445 to be shipped to cx (contractor will install part). The cx asked me to leave unit with plumbing and electrical disconnected, and I did it. "Customer complaint is that after a safety audit of the home it was reported that the rear two burners were putting off too much CO. Burners tested and most of the flame is blue on both burners with some yellow tipping. The left rear burner hisses on high. Both burners turned on with pots of water and CO tester used at the front of the unit to monitor CO levels. Contacted Whirlpool tech support to determine if there a CO max level for the cooktop burners. There is no max CO level for the cooktop burners, oven restricted to 300ppm. CO meter registered 0ppm during testing. All levels measured for the burners were below the oven's max tolerance level, unit is working as designed. SR # 7736706198."

cx complaint unit making excessive vibrating/grinding sound in fc. cx had a very breif video that appeared to be the evap fan vibrating/grinding. however when inspecting unit found no ice or frost build up that would obstruct the fan blade and produce noise. reinstalled evap cover securely and confirmed no harness' are contacting the inside of the cover. encouraged cx to take another video if sound returns and email it the service email for Via. collected only for service call.
