CX complai t is thta the it takes 2 - 3 cycles to completly dry colthing. I found that the the unit is heating and tumbling as designed. I found that the venting on the exterier of the home is heavely linted possible restricting air flow. I was able to educate CX on opperation of her e;lectric dryer and deminstrated the importance of cleaning the lint trap after every use. I advised CX to have a lincesed Vent cleaning company inspect the venting from the wall to the outside of the home.

"cx complaint unit making several strange noises and seems to be making ice slowly. inspected unit and verified complaint. cx said she dumped out ice last night before bed and the container is half full at this time. seems icemaker is making ice fine, advised cx it could take up to 3days to fill the container. temps are good, 40 in rc and 8 in fz, no overfrosting. one of the noises is creaking when opening and closing door. tried greasing hinge but no change, found creaking noise is metal on metal of frame of unit, cant do anything to change it. another noise is groaning sound, adjusted drier to 45* angle to try and get that noise to be quieter, advised cx they may still hear it. all other noises seem normal. also advised r600a compressors run a little noisier. see sticky notes"

"cx complaint unit still creating grinding sound, as frequently as multiple times per hour. inspected and again could not identify anything that may be causing the cx described noise. cx had a video of the sound occuring which lasted about 4 seconds and was not entirely clear regardless. contacted techline and techline reccomended that the mastic be 'doubled up' at the evap cap tube. based on video and sound frequency im personally not sure this is the resolution, but did advise cx this is the suggestion per whirlpool. cx, however, does not want to proceed with any repair OOW that can not conclusively solve issue. contacted Trade Care as well and was not afforded anything other than pad on the part for the mastic (4318168) only. sr7736865742 documented and avised for cx."

"cx complaint unit provoking f8e4 error. inspected unit and found water in the drip tray, triggering the float switch. found no tears in gasket, no signs of leaks within the inner door panel. ran 'normal' cycle and was not able to replicate a leak during. examined carefully and did not identify any crack on the tub corners that would lead to water leaking out. unit does NOT leak when not in use. also did not see any signs of leak at the supply valve. finally ran auto test cycle just to confirm issue not occurring during select features of cycles. still no leak occurred during testing. unit appears to be operating as designed. possibly leak was caused by unusual loading procedure (i.e.- a plate laid flat, upside down bowl, etc). "Cx complaint is washer taking 2-3 hours to complete a cycle. Tested inspected and could not verify complaint. Unit went through a diag cycle, unit had npo stored error codes. Washed a blanket on quick wash and cycle was completed in 32mins. Blanket was properly rinsed and spun out. When cx is using things like deep water wash, fabric softener and extra rinse, these all add significant time to the normal wash cycle. Cx is also using to much detergant and mixing bleach and detergant and softener all together whivch could be causing longer cycle times. Another thing that could be happening is if the cx has an off balance load the unit could be trying to correct the load causing longer wash times. Unit is working as designed. Job is complete."
