Inspected the unit. Found that the cx is saying that the Refrigerator will not stay On again / No L.e.d. Lights. Called Whirlpool Techline Ref # 7736869915. Whirlpool e had me check all low voltage circuits on the unit. Went over all low voltages with Whirlpool Techline. ( Per Whirlpool Techline don't order any parts until failure happens. Was advised to tell the cx that they can't unplug the unit. To call use. They will need to leave the unit as is until we get there. If the cx does call back call Whirlpool before doing anything to the unit so they can see what is causing it to do this. )

"cx complaint unit provoking f8e4 error. inspected unit and found water in the drip tray, triggering the float switch. found no tears in gasket, no signs of leaks within the inner door panel. ran 'normal' cycle and was not able to replicate a leak during. examined carefully and did not identify any crack on the tub corners that would lead to water leaking out. unit does NOT leak when not in use. also did not see any signs of leak at the supply valve. finally ran auto test cycle just to confirm issue not occurring during select features of cycles. still no leak occurred during testing. unit appears to be operating as designed. possibly leak was caused by unusual loading procedure (i.e.- a plate laid flat, upside down bowl, etc). I tried replacing the ice maker but the new one is bad. The motor and the switch are not ligning up and the motor keeps popping off. The RC door right door is not sealing correctly the gasket ir failing the magnets is coming off. The door is warping and is not sealing correctly and is binding with the door. The warmer temps is keeping ice being made. Unit will needs new door, gasket and ice maker. "cx complaint unit still creating grinding sound, as frequently as multiple times per hour. inspected and again could not identify anything that may be causing the cx described noise. cx had a video of the sound occuring which lasted about 4 seconds and was not entirely clear regardless. contacted techline and techline reccomended that the mastic be 'doubled up' at the evap cap tube. based on video and sound frequency im personally not sure this is the resolution, but did advise cx this is the suggestion per whirlpool. cx, however, does not want to proceed with any repair OOW that can not conclusively solve issue. contacted Trade Care as well and was not afforded anything other than pad on the part for the mastic (4318168) only. sr7736865742 documented and avised for cx."

"cx complaint is the unit leaking from around the door seal causing condensation and water to drip by the front left of the unit. when i arrived i found moisture on the inner door and tub in the top left. the gasket is pushed back at the top left corner. i tried pulling it out so its straight but it sloly moves back. i replaced gasket with preIDed part. checked for codes, none saved. ran service cycle. at end of cycle. no condensation on the inner door. i started a normal cycle and let it run for a little while. no moisture issues. unit is working as designed."

Cx complaint is that the unit is not completing cycles. Upon arrival I found an F8E1. I then ran the diag test and found that the cold valve is loud and water is just trickling in. I was able to replace the valve. I found that the water was flowing better but is still slow. i removed the cold hose and opened it into the basket and found that the supply flow is slow. I informed the cx that a plumber will need to evaluate the issue. Job complete

"cx complaint water tank full icon on even tho tank is empty. if cx tries to run unit, icon goes away for a couple seconds then cycle shuts down within a min and icon comes back on. inspected unit and verified complaint. no errors stored. tested float switch and J8-3 - J8-4 and it tests good. ran diagnostic cycle. filled water tank in S04, can hear and feel pump running but no water coming up to tank. unit will at least need pump, could possibly need control also. quoted 459.55 for replacing pump, cx paid 120 service call with cash and will owe 339.55 to continue with repair. cx will run it by landlord and have him call in to office. ordering pump and marking preid control as will use on return visit but cx still needs charged for it.; ordrng 1 W11086537 (pump)"
