cx complaint is units temps are way out of range and wont heat to higher temps or hold temps. she started unit to 450 when i was on the way to tests ranges. she has round temp guage in unit. put my didgital in unit as well to match or see temps of all three then check control. after pre heat unit set to 450 and i read 469 her guage was 455 control read 469. she said long bakes and so on unit wont hold or bake like it should and so on. i see all the notes and so on. replaced control and sensor and tested unit again. ranges were closer together. cx will try to bake a few times and see how unit does. job complete.

Per previous tech I was able to access and replace the control and when I accessed the fan I found that the unit has an ice ball built up in the top RH corner of the FC evap at cap tube. I callled JL and informed him of what I found. I replaced the evap fan and then did and amp draw and found that the unit is drawing 2.29 amps when compressor is at max speed and 1.11 amps at min. I am ordering the sealed system repair with both evaps and compressor/drier. "Cx complained the unit did not make ice. Inspected the unit and found in step 120, the IMA passed the test. In step 97, the ice maker would not fill due to a frozen fill tube. Step 66, turned the heater on but it did not melt ice. At the heater, there is 12.5vdc but the heater has 41 ohms and is out of the 18ohm +/- 7% range. "Cx complaint when unit is plugged in it trips breaker. inspected unit and plugged unit in and found outlet tripped. I unplugged power cable and tested cable and found it tested good. disconnected compressor and found same results. I removed evap cover and unplugged evap connector on back wall and found unit powered up.
