CX complai t was that the RC stopped cooling . I found that the Evap was frozen over. I was able to steam out the ice blockage and found that the evap harness was not staying connected to the defrost heater. In was able to access and replace the defrost/evap harness and the thermistor. I then turned unit back on and found it to be opperating. I advised CX to allow a min of 24hr's before unit returns to reccomended temps. . UNit test good.

"CX complaint was that the unit would not fill with water. i foudn that the unit had a F8E1 error code. I was able to clear the code and ran a test cycle. I found the unit complete the test cycle with out issues. I then started a quick was cycle and found that the unti would sence , but not fill and then display the F8E1 error. I was able to start a notmal cyle once more and vfound the propper 120 V's to the valve , but no valve movement. I then accessee and replace the valve and the run cap due to leaking gray oil. I then sran a 2nd auto test and fou nd the unti to complete the test again with out issue. I started a normal wash cycle and found the valve to open and the unit to fill with water. Unit test good."

"CX complains unit will run about 3 cycles then will fill and shut off mid cycle. CX states they have recently moved to service area, but have had prior repairs done another company. CX is within manufacture warranty according to entilements as well as pop. Unit unplugged on arrival, unit shows no stored errors. Ran unit through diagnostic test cycle, to which unit went through cycle with no errors. Unit water shut off valves both leak while allowing water, so both valves shut off when not in use. Inspected under unit and all parts seem to be ok. Called techline due to unit working as designed on visit. Spoke to Nate who said due to not being able to replicate issue or having anything saved to go off of, the best we can do is document and ask CX to leave unit plugged in."

No measurement for cap. Capacitor has 50uF unplugged but cannot read at control Red wire 9 OHMs to chasis ground. Called techline same. Returning tech: replace lower harness 1st & see if display will turn on. Weird that with all other connectors unplugged (no loads) UI still doesnt work with 12VDC. Re-ordering UI & ACU.
