"cx complaint unit FC is not keeping temp. inspected unit and found FC temps were 55 degrees, RC was 38 degrees. I found FC fan was not on at the time. I found test 1=01, 02=01, 03=both fans did work and came on and damper opened and closed. I removed FC evap cover and found no frost pattern. ran test 4 and found when compressor came on it sounded very loud and drawn out noise. I found 04 it did cool the RC section. 05 I found FC did start to build a frost pattern. using watt meter I found unit was producing 218watts, 3amps. called TL, TL says SS. parts are covered under entitlements, qouted cx for labor and service call $870. cx declined. charged cx only for service call fee $120 check"

"CX complain t is that the unit is not powering on. I found that the UI is light , but no movment formt he compressor and no Lighting inside the unit . I was able to access and inspect the compressor compartment and the main controls. I found that the 3 way vsalve is chatering , but not opening. I found took a DC voltage reading of the power supply board at P2 and found 14.2V's DC P2 .1-.4 , 14V's DC P2.2-.5, and 2.5 V's DC at P2.3-.6. Power board is not supplying maincontrol. Unit will need 1 power board (W10830278). I quoted CX for the cost of repair . I collected $120.00 via credit card. CX will discuss with wife and call back into office if a repair is wanted. I called WP Tech Line and discussed my findings. TL agrees;"

cx said since last visit unit was ran 3 times and did not leak. she is worried unit will leak. inspected unit and entered daig and found saved error codes. ran the auto test and found unit finished without issue. I then removed top and found no signs of dried water or anything wet outside the tub. I lifted unit and found no dry water stains or anything wet. I did find a large stain on back wall leading to floor. i did fill tub and drain it and found no signs of a backed up stand pipe. called TL documents my findings. as of now cx is to monitor unit and see if leak happens again.

"Upon attempting repair I found the spanner nut siezed to the gearcase shaft. It took about 100 tries and the spanner nut threads are stripped out now. Also the rotor/stator etc is siezed to the gearcase shaft on bottom. Tried everything to get it off and was unsuccessful. No clutch was ordered on prior visit so I need to order that as well. Gearcase threads also caused basket splines to become defective. This unit needs additional parts. Ordering spin basket, clutch, screws for stator, top lid and hinges and spanner nut. Cannot reschedule at this time. Old gearcase removed. Return with new parts as well as parts from prior tech. 2 ct gearcase; ordrng 1 W10754448 (clutch) and 1 W10811960 (spin basket) and 10 W11027980 (screw)s and 1 WP8563965 (lid hinge) and 1 WP8572974 (lid hinge) and 1 W10909670 (nut-spaner)"

Pulled rotor stator and clutch out and inspected slider and it was in good condition. Remounted rotor stator and releveled unit for CX. Calibrated and retested and the Wm is now working properly.

Upon arrivl evap was severely frozen oven. Defrosted most of evap with steamer. Replaced heater per prior diagnois. After replacement I went into step 13 and started forced defrost. Unit defrosted bottom of evap by itself and the heater was definitiely working. Tested thermistor and it was in range. Want to reorder control just in case it is needed.
