Checked the unit for Dye. No Dye found. Checked the units Frost Pattern on the Evaporator. Frost Pattern is good. Covered the lower Cx is over packing the freezer and air can't flow correctly. Unit is working as Designed.

Cx stated since last visit that the unit had been better and they only had it set on step below recommended. Pulled amp draw and was .89Amps at compressor. Fans working. No items in unit to get product temperature at time of visit. Contacted techline and spoke to Kurt not a sealed system at this time. Ohmed out thermistors and found fc evap gave multiple readings due to a short. Replaced thermistor with van stock and informed cx to give 24-48 hrs to cool. I then. Checked the Freezer Section. Evaporator cover is Iced over. Ran Service Diagnostics on the unit. Ran Service Test 101 - Defrost Test. Heater is not energizing. Checked the Heater Element. I'm getting 29.2 Ohms. Tried to run a defrost cycle in Service Diagnostics. Heater isn't Heating. Unit will need a Defrost Heater Harness with Bi - Metal. Removed all Frost from the Evaporator. Good air flow from Damper to Refrigerator Section now. Cx paid all but the labor. Cx needs to pay labor on return. ; ordrng 1 12906601 (HARNESS- E)

F5E4 Lid not open between cycles. Customer complaint unti would not start. only the done light would be on and when they tried to start it again the unit would not start and the only way they can get it to work is unplugging the unit. I found the unit has F5E4 lock error for not openning the door between cycles but the customer is having issues startin the cycle. I ran test and the unit completed the test cycle. Cusotmer stated that sometimes it works fine and then sometimes theyh have to unplugged it to get started. Maybe the latch in not detecting the door closed. Ordering latch and control. called tech line to go over unit again and do all checked asked for by Engineering. called tech line and spoke to Nate went through every test on UI as well as tesed low voltage points on control that was listed. advised cant do anything is we cant get unit to power down or shut off. and for E5 for ice maker advised to power off unit a bit to reset and see hiw that goes first and if unit resets and makes ice before replacing parts. also checked for ice build up or air flow issues in vent. called trade care to get auth num to cover service since this started when in warrenty and is on going. spoke to Cynthea and Parts Concession # for parts if needed. could only get auth for parts as she said service and labor carries with ticket as its a ongoing issue.
