"cx complaint is the unit not completing cycles. cx said it just stops in the middle of a cycle and does nothing else. checked for codes and found F51 motor RPS failure. ran service cycle. unit began filling but basket did not turn, F51 reappeared. basket spins by hand freely but washplate does not turn with it. washplate is very hard to turn by hand. inspected under unit. removed rotor and found it is damaged. the plastic around the bolt is broken causing it to bind. i reinstalled it so its lined up as best i could. ran service cycle again and this time it agitated properly. ran high speed spin. unit spun and lid latch worked. ordering new rotor for return visit. scheudle when approved.; ordrng 1 280146 (rotor)"

Ran test 6 to see if the defrost circuit is working. Evaporator thawed off. Defrost circuit is working properly, thermostat is not opening too soon. Did find the defrost thermostat attached to a curved section of line. Thermostat moved to a straight section. Ran test 4 to check the 3 way valve. Valve is working properly. Unable to determine cause of evaporator freeze over at this time. Possibly a byproduct of prior issues. Customer to monitor for any further issues, unit is currently working properly."

Found unit to be full of hard iron water and recirculation pump to be making loud noise but not pulling water. Unit is cooling and filling with water but recirculation pump is not bringing water to be turned into ice. CX will need recirculation pump for repair. Quoted cx on parts for repair to which cx has agreed. Was able to replace recirculation pump with pre i.d part, retested unit and unit is now working as designed. No further work needed.
