"cx complaint is the heater not shutting off. cx ran a load overnight and when they opened basment door in the morning they could feel the heat. top of dryer was 180 degrees, plastic bag on top of dryer melted and is now stuck to top. baffle in drum melted as well. cover over light is melted. found element is OL but not grounded to chassis. removed element and found it broke in 2 spots and burn marks on ducting where it had made contact with chassis. called techline to document. documented with safety. quoted cx for repair. they said they are going to call whirlpool and might replace the unit.; ordrng 1 WP692490 (baffle-drm) and 1 W11226088 (lens) and 1 W10906683 (seal-door)"

"cx complaint unit still isnt cooling enough to keep ice cream cold. inspected unit and took temps and found 14 degrees FC. I found .61amps from compressor. I hooked gauges up and found 11in vacuum and 100psi on the high side. i did not find a full frost pattern. called TL was told to charge with nitrogen and see if gauge drops , if not recharge system and see what happens. TL things system might have been under charged. charged system with 140psi of nitrogen and found the gauge did not move. was able to pull unit into a 30 in vacuum that held. i charged system with 56g or R600A. allow 24hrs for cooling. unit checks good."

Inspected under unit and found gear case oil slung all around and wet parts. Cx said evap was frozen, they had since unplugged unit for 48hrs and has been plugged in for 3 days now. Checked thermistors from board and all fans working. All temps correct on todays visit. Cx also has unit plugged into different circuit to see if the outlet behind the unit is the issue. Found the pantry hanress UI to be corroded and chimes but does not light up. Unplugged UI to see if PO error message goes away. Cx paid 120.00 SC by CC. Job is complete."

"Cx complaint is that the ice maker made ice for a few days after last visit and then stopped again. Upon arrival I found that the ice maker was dry and had no ice in it. I checked the temps and found the icebox at 1Deg the FC at -4 Deg, and the RC at 35 Deg. I then ran test 56 and found E0. I ran 57 and the ice maker is loud during the harvest rotation but was able to complete the harvest. I then ran test 45 and found that the fill tube was frozen. I ran test 19 and found that the heater is getting 123.5 V. I called TL and informed them of my findings. I am ordering the icemaker, valve and both fill tube and escutcheon heater. Please contact cx when the parts are available to schedule the return visit.; ordrng 1 W11637688 (Vent panel) and 1 W11658802 (Ice maker) and 1 WPW10341329 (Valve) and 1 W11087201 (Fill Tube Heater)"
