complaint is unit not cooling again. found evap iced up again. defrost sensor reads OL again. cx was told by whrilpool that i would show up and decide if she gets a new unit but we all know thats a lie. called techline to document. they had me check connections in wiring harness in rear of cabinet to control board. all connections are plugged in solidly and control is currently getting a signal from thermistors which is in spec.control is sending 5vdc. they said change no parts as its working right now and have cx call back if it quits again and they'll replace the unit. 7733678751 spent 1 hours melting ice and informed cx unit is working and to call back when it quits again.

cx complaint unit is not heating to temps said food will not be cooked. inspected unit then checked for errors and had none and sensor is reading 80 degress. i then testd bake and igniter glows good then gas flow came in and it ignitred fine then cancled unit and said it was at 140 degrees when heating for maybe 15 seconds. i was pre id control so replaced control hoping its reading sensor wrong then tsted at 350 unit reached 350 then canceld cycle and control is saying its 423 degrees inside when its 350. sensor has to be the issue. reordering control and ordering sensor for them to be changed together; ordrng 1 WPW10181986 (sensor) and 1 WPW10556708 (control)

FOund the original installed pieced the drain together with the older one and cut the drain line that came with the unit. The older drain line was shoved completely down to the P-Trap and sludge from the draining is all insid found that the gearcase is completely shot and free spins almost out of control in spin. Ordering gearcase, splutch,actuator and drain hose. Returning with motor and belt. This is an AIG contract so cannot reschedule without Auth. Informed CX unit needed to be made accesible for returning tech. 2 ct gearcase; ordrng 1 W11454372 (gearcase) and 1 W10721967 (drive pulley) and 1 W10913953 (actuator) and 1 W11244231 (hose)"

"cx complaint is a gridning noise and the lid not locking/unlocking. cx had videos of unit making the noise. checked F5E2 lid lock failure. cleared code, ran service cycle. lid latch worked, during spin unit did not spin very fast, kept slowing down and displayed 5 on screen instead of 18. inspected under unit and found no signs of wear or binding. no damage to any part. rotor feels loose even when tightened properly. replaced lid latch. ran cycle again. basket doesnt seem to spin very fast during test and display shows 5 instead of 18 during that step. ran high speed spin. unit makes a clicking noise as basket speeds up. suspension feels good and unit is sitting level. ordering gearcase rotor stator, marking clutch slider for use on return.; ordrng 1 W11393684 (gearcase) and 1 W10754158 (motor stator) and 1 W10754161 (motor rotor)"

"Cx complaint that the unit is making a weird noise and a burning smell. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. I found an error code: f0e0. I ran a service and diagnostic cycle, I did not notice any weird noises or smells and all components passed. I checked under the unit and found the capacitor screw was loose allowing the capacitor to make contact with the belt causing the burning smell. I tightened the screw and tested the unit for the cx. The unit is working as designed."
