cx complaint unit not cooling properly in rc. inspected unti and found that as of today the unit is now cooling as normal in both compartments. inspected unit and found residual frost and ice on the evap the appeared as tho it were from a door ajar or even a possible defrost failure that has since remedied. the unit today has defrosted the majority of the frost and ice and the evap fan can effectively transfer air to the rc. explianed issue to cx but did not reccomend any parts at this time since the unit is working and any failures would be intermitent and speculative. collected only for service call.

Inspected the unit. Found that the cx is saying that the Refrigerator isn't cooling again. Checked the unit for Dye. Checked the Compressor Section. No Dye. Checked the Refrigerator Evaporator. No Dye. I then checked the Freezer Section. No Dye. Checked pressures on the unit. Low Side is at -15. High Side is reading 80 - 70 Psi. Unit will not hold a charge. Checked the Floor for Dye. No Dye found. I then shut the unit off to see if the pressures would equalized the pressure. Pressure equalized to 35 Psi on both sides. Per Whirlpool Techline this unit has been reported as Non - Repairable at this time. Cx is advised to call Whirlpool Techline.
