"cx complaint unit will not produce heat in broil cycle. cx stated they had tried 3-4 seperate occassions with the unit not working before scheduling for service. inspected unit and first checked for any error codes in diagnostic entry and found none. then ran broil cycle, and found within seconds that the broil element was activating and heating. allowed unit to reach broil temp (550 degrees) with no interuptions or fault codes. was not able to replicate issue. performed control reset in diag entry and encouraged cx to monitor issue moving forward."

Cx complaint is that the unit is still making the noise and doesnt seem to be agitating or spinning out clothes enough. Upon arrival I ran the diag test and in agitate and spin I was able to hear something rubbing under the unit. I tipped the unit back and found that the nut on the splutch was loose allowing the pulley to slide down and rub on the cover. I was able to tighten the splutch and the tested the unit. I found that it is now functioning as intended. job complete.

"Inspected the unit. Found that the cx is saying that there is Water in the Tub after the Cycle. Ran Service Test on the unit. Error of F22 = Door Lock Error. Checked the Door Lock / Switch. Door Lock is working. Locking / Unlocking. ( Asked the cx how much Soap are they using. Cx states to level 4 & 5. Advised to the cx that this could be way to much soap. Advised to the cx bring the level down to the number 2 as this would a full cup of soap.) Checked the Drain Hose. Found that the Drain Hose is at 8 - 10 inches in the Drain Hole. Pulled the Drain Hose back to 3 - 4 Inches. Ran the unit on Rinse and Spin. Tub is showing suds, I didn't add any soap. Showed the cx that there is still soap in the Tub. ( Advised that the cx use Liquid Chlorine Bleach of 16 Oz's on the first cycle of the Clean Washer Cycle to break down any old soap. Then use the Affresh Tablet on the second Cycle of the Clean Washer Cycle.) Cx paid in full by Card."

Cx is not using the whirlpool app (does not like it and deleted it). informed cx that the time can often be corrected by the app syncing the phone with the unit. cx downloaded the app and connected the unit. the unit time corrected itself. checked for error codes and none were present. tested unit and component activation and unit is working as designed. job complete. Cx did state they have media com as internet provider, they are all that is available in the area, and they frequently lose connection with wifi and also experience power outages with any decent rain storm. advised cx to check connection to the app and appliance after storms and note if that is the cause of the issue if it continues to occur."
