cx complaint is the unit taking a long time to ignite sometimes. cx said issue happens on all burners and happens randomly. cx started several burners when i arrived. some lit right away. others took 10-15 seconds or so to ignite. tested each burner. middle rear and far right burners seemed to take the longers but still ignited withing 10 seconds everytime i tried them. i called techline to document. they had me test each burner with a pot on top. each ignited within 8seconds. techline said it can take 10-12 seconds to ignite and thats normal. informed cx that the unit is working as designed.

"Cx complaint is that the unit had an odd melted plasitic kind of smell after the repair. Upon arrival I found no error codes. I then ran the diag test and found that the unit had no odors when running. I inspected the harness and control up top. I then tipped the unit back and inspected the drive assembly, harness and drain pump. I found no nroken wires or evidence of broken wiring. I did find that the cover had rubber particals from the belt hitting the motor pulley shoulders. I was unable to replicate or find any causes of the smell. I informed cx that the unit is currently functioning as intended. Job complete"

Installed new baffles and auger shaft. THe customer complaint that the freezer was not freezing anymore. I found it is very warm. I replaced parts and tested for compressor and on low speed the compressor is reading 69 watts and on highspeed is 139 watts so seems like the compressor is good and filled but is very hot and i can hear rod noises. But the evap was overfrosting again. and when i ran test 4 it would not frost all of the evap. I also found thermistor loose on the evap and the RC compartment thermistor cover tab was broken had to ziptie the thermistor to the side of the evap cover. It could be that the RC was not reading temps correctly and was cooling RC too much becasue it thought it was warm. Or we have and innefficient compressor. Unit is cooling now.

Customers complaint is the unit is not igniting for the bake option. Inspected unit and pulled lower drawer out found Ferris material hands that were above the drawer. This was causing the igniter wire to Arc to the pan in the drawer. When I opened up the drawer and test the unit the igniter ignited the flame and began to heat advised customer to make sure that they did not have items that were above the drawer that could cause this to happen. Customer understands and will make sure nothing is in the lower drawer that's causing the ignitive wire to Arc to it.

Customer complaint is the unit is not drying the dishes. Inspected unit found dispenser full of rinseed on the third setting. I changed rinseed dispenser to Max. I ran auto test mode and check for error codes unit did not have any error codes. Unit completed auto test mode and at the end of the cycle the heater element turned on and was very hot to the touch. I found unit unit has a plastic tub and being plastic allows the unit to become porous holding water and retaining water on plastic tupperware. I explained to the customer that the unit is working as design and to let rinseed cycles to slowly coat the interior of the cabinet they should help in the future. Unit is working properly

"cx complaint washer greyish/blackish stains on white clothes checked unit and found no errors while testing unit , uninstalled and found drain pump wire coming unseated from connetion . cut out old connetor and added new one to wire harness with heat shrink reinstalled unit and tested unit is running as designed advised cx to run clean washer cycle atleast once a month and keep line open when unit is not in use ."

Got to the unit and is the same issue as always. Lock is flashing and goes back to normal after reseting the board. I did not reset the board and called techline and we tested everything before we reset the board. And Techline said that everything is about where it needs to be only the motor but the is still with in range just not perfect but after resetting the board everything worked. He even talked to engineers and we could not see what can be the issue. So they told me no further repair and the custoemr needs to call extended warranty for resolution. no more repairs to this unit.

"Cx complaint is, Heating Element - SP W11540964 - Special Project S17304 - PRE-ID Heater Bushing W11537778. Removed 2 screws, and removed the unit from underneath the counter top. Removed lower rack and spray arm. Removed 2 plastic fasteners and original heater element. Installed new heater element and 2 plastic fasteners, lower rack and spray arm. No leaks found. Unit working properly."
