Cx complaint is that the unit is not running and is intermittently not draining. Upon arrival I found an F7E1 and an F7E6. I ran the diag test and found that the unit is able to complete the cycle without any errors. I then accessed the control and tested the motor circuit and found that it is reading 6.9 Ohms and 6.5 Ohms for the CW and CCW windings. I found that when under load the harness is losing connection and causing the issue. I quoted the cx for the cost of the harness. Cx will go over the quote with their spouse and decide at a later time.; saved tckt

Started a cycle at the same point that they did and the unit did kick over and run. Customer stated that the unit did feel warm when it stopped. Airflow out of the unit is not restricted. Unit ran 30 minutes without issue. Load added to the unit and unit retested. Unit stopped 15 minutes into the cycle. Confirmed good power to the motor, but the motor will not turn over. Motor run winding tested open. Motor replaced and unit retested. Unit is working properly. Contacted Whirlpool Tech Support with findings."

cx says the unit is not cooling very good. found the refrigerator temp is 60f and the freezer temp is 0f when i arrived. put the unit into diagnostics and found the evaporator fan makes noise but i feel no air flow. freezer drawer slides are very hard to open and close and make a squealing noise when moving. when i removed the fan cover the blade was not connected to the evaporator fan. put the unit into defrost and the unit is heating good and the evaporator is not over frosted. reinstalled fan blade and the evaporator fan is now blowing good. the bail arm is off the ice maker. the right door gasket is damaged and allowing moisture into the unit. cx does not want to do any other of the repairs

cx complaint is the door gaskets not sealing. cx said installers changed doors to open in the other direction and gaskets were not readjusted. confrmed complaint. RC gaskts have large gaps on right and top sides. FC gasket looked to be sealing but when door was opened the gasket came out of the groove on the door it sits in. i put gasket back in place on FC door. used heat gun to adjust both door gaskets. both are now sealing. unit is working as designed.
