Inspected and found the washplate screw is snapped off flush with the top of the gearcase shaft. Drilled screw out from center and tried to remove with easy out kit but is seized in the shaft. Customers complaint is a unit has Frost and ice built up at the top of the cabinet of the freezer. Inspected unit found that the top center of the freezer door and the top of the freezer cabinet had frost and ice built up. I checked door and found door belling at the top center. Door has void in the top of the door missing phone. This caused the door to sag and the gasket to sag allowing air to come through the top of the door into the freezer cabinet. I showed customer this. I quoted customer for replacing the door and the name plate. "cx complaint after control was replaced, unit wouldnt stop spinning, stuck in spin for over an hour. ran diagnostics and have f7e7 motor unable to reach target rpm. ran test cycle, everything ran correctly. suspension tests good, no play in gearcase. tachometer test is sensing basket spin. found unit leaning forward, leveled unit. called techline. techline thinks its an oversudsing issue causing drag on the basket because sometimes cx uses a pod of oxiclean with a pod of detergent and advised to get some towels wet and run drain and spin and see if it completes cycle. unit completed drain and spin with wet towels. advised cx to run cleaning cycle and use only 1 pod of either detergent or oxiclean at a time not both together per techline and call back if issues persist"

Customer complaint unit is not leaking. The custoemr did not have POP he bought the house last year and the the unit came with the house. Added 8 weeks and put it in warranty. I tested the unit everywhere and i could not find the leak. I removed the cooktop and found leaking from the manifolds. Removed added teflon tape for gas and tested unit is not leaking anymore but we can still smell gas. I follow the line and found the shut off valve is leaking as well. Cuwtomer is calling plumber to fix the issue with the house. Unit is back to normal operations.

Replaced COmpressor and evaporator as well as installed UV drier and coupler. Pressure tested united with nitrogen and pressure held for 15mins. checked all joints for leaks and found none. Vac'd unit down to 30in for 15mins. Vac held after closing gauges. Filled unit with 4.50z of R134a. Low side pressure held steady at zero. Left gauges hooked up for 20mins and found evap was getting frost pattern and fan was working. This unit is now working as designed. Job is complete

"cx complaint along with a metal mold odor there is condensation which forms when in use on the control . . . checked unit found no error codes stored to unit put unit threw test cycle and everything checked good , uninstalled unit and checked under found any signs of failure . eveything checked good no oil on gearcase and belt didnt have any type of stress marks . unit is running as designed . cx states they wash in hot and warm water advised that they will have some build up of condensation from that and will need to leave lid up after using unit . found pressure hose kinked some next too control going down to the tub , unkinked and made sure hose has a good run from control to rub and tested unit running as designed ."

"cx complaint fz light out, intermittently sizzling noise in fz and bale arm on icemaker gets in the way of pulling upper fz drawer out. advised cx sizzling noise is normal, sound of frost melting and dripping onto element during defrost. fz light working at this time but can see signs of door not sealing sometimes. no gaps in gasket and slide rails are good. advised cx to open fz from center of handle and showed how the tracks can get out of alignment from pulling from not center of handle. cx understands. found bale arm not hitting tapered part of ice container so it blocks drawer from pulling out. seems bale arm drops down further than usual. ordering icemaker to see if that helps, cx may need to get in habit of pulling drawer from left side. scheduled return for 6/21; ordrng 1 W11556926 (icemaker)"
