CX comp;lai nt is that the unti is leaking i the front left cornner of the unit. I found that CX is using Dawn dish soap to clean the dishes before they are put into the DW. I was able to remove the outer door skin and ran a normal cycle. I found suds preseant in the unit during the cycle as well as being able to watch the water ovewhelem the tub and spill onto the floor and go down the funel into the foat pan causing the F8E4. I called WP Tech Line and spoke to TJ. I explained my findingd . I advised per WP to CX to run clean cycles with vinagar or Vegtable oil . No repairs to be made at this time . "Upon arrival i went over history and tested unit. The description and sound i have run into with another unit. It is the cooling fan getting hung up. It clicks for few seconds then stops running. I did not find any wires that look like they could be hanging it up but the sound does sound just like it is coming from cooling fan by sound and location of the sound. After inspecting fan and moving a magnet in the fan to see if any screws or any metal object may be inside it, The unit then worked without clicking after that. I then cleared the errors Cycled power and ran the diag test. The unit had o failures and 3 faults. The three previous faults reappeared. I did audibly hear the blower fan running rough and slowing down as it was running. I quoted the cx for the cost of the blower and control repair. Cx paid in full. "Cx complaint is the unit is not cooling. I found the unit unplugged. Removed all rc selfs and air tower. I found the tabs at the top of the Evap cover and rc evap housing were broken off. I removed Evap cover and found the Evap housing dowl that secures the Evap cover on to the housing is broken off from the oil that leaked from the Evap.. to replace the housing the Evap will have to b replaced again. I was able to replace the door closer and led light in the freezer. When I put the unit back together I noticed the freezer and pantry door switches not responding in test 18but after a couple of mins the door switches began to respond . Unit Will now need . Control, switches, compressor, Rc Evap, drain pan, Rc Evap housing, Rc Evap cover and all parts ordered last visit. 3 count job. "Confirmed cx complaint unit not cooling, unit running at room temperature. Unit is in an RV, cx had work done by another service company in North Carolina, other servicer replaced evaporator and installed a dye dryer. Inspected unit for dye, found dye present at base of compressor, did not see it around evap drain pan or condensor but cannot confirm that parts are functional as I cannot pressurize the system to. Cx states that whirlpool told him that labor and parts would be covered by warranty, cx paid 120 diagnostic. Could not confirm coverage, instructed cx to call back into whirlpool and have coverage dispatched directly over. Ordering sealed system components for return visit, returning tech to determine what is needed after pressurizing system. "Cx complaint is unit is not fully spinning out clothes. Installed control, and new control powered on for less the a second and powered off . I unplugged unit and found the units relay would click. When this happened the green light would turn on and turn off . I could hear the drain pump turn on for less then a second and then the control would power down. I unplugged all connectors and plugged them in one by one. This time the control did not power down. I checked for error codes and found f1e1 error code, main control fault. new control was defective out of box. I re-installed old control. While running auto test mode I could hear squeaking and scraping during high speed spin coming from the gear case. I also noticed the basket is out of balance due to a bent gearcase. Unit will need new control (W11603810), motor (W10890624), clutch (W10721967), and gearcase (W11454741).
