"Upon arrival i went over history and tested unit. The description and sound i have run into with another unit. It is the cooling fan getting hung up. It clicks for few seconds then stops running. I did not find any wires that look like they could be hanging it up but the sound does sound just like it is coming from cooling fan by sound and location of the sound. After inspecting fan and moving a magnet in the fan to see if any screws or any metal object may be inside it, The unit then worked without clicking after that. cx complaint is unit wont start and keeps beeping and flashing a light. unit flashes the F8E4 code. cant start of run unit. cx not home just someone to let me in to ask bout soap and unit running. pulled lower cover to find tray full so unit wouldnt run. cleared water and dried and started a cycle. did find a small drip from water line at valve. put a half turn on line. drip went away. unit has a bunch of soap in it as well. ran unit and bubbles came out. opened door and subs went all over. cx tried to say nothing was in unit but soap doesnt lie. dried unit again and advised she needs to clean and clear unit and do a empty wash to wash unit out and see how unit does again. units getting to much pressure in it. job complete.

CX comp;lai nt is that the unti is leaking i the front left cornner of the unit. I found that CX is using Dawn dish soap to clean the dishes before they are put into the DW. I was able to remove the outer door skin and ran a normal cycle. I found suds preseant in the unit during the cycle as well as being able to watch the water ovewhelem the tub and spill onto the floor and go down the funel into the foat pan causing the F8E4. I called WP Tech Line and spoke to TJ. I explained my findingd . I advised per WP to CX to run clean cycles with vinagar or Vegtable oil . No repairs to be made at this time . I ran a service cycle, all component passed, but a did hear a scraping noise from under the unit while it spun and agitated. I looked under the unit and found the shield loose and out of place. As soon as the water entered the unit it began to rapidly leak. I checked the drain pump and water valve they are both in place and secure. I found the leak coming from the side of the sump assembly. cx complaint sometimes she get a banging noise while using. inspected unit and found 0 error codes stored. ran auto test and found it finished without issue. ran a manual high speed spin and found the unit made no abnormal noises. I think its possiable we are getting some noise from the drain hose when unit is in a spin. advised cx to take a look at the hoses when she hears it again. mentioned using foam hose to wrap drain/ supply hoses to keep it from being noisy. i did see evidence/markings on back was and back of unit from drain hose. unit checks good.
