Customer complaint unit is not completing a cycle and the light is staying on wash. I tested the unit and found no error codes and the unit is completing a test cyckle. I found the CX is using the original tide soap. And the cold water is very low. I adviced the cusotemr to only use HE detergent and the water to be turned open all the way. The customer stated they had the water like that so they can get warm water. I explained to the cusotmer taht the unit being HE it will have read the water temps coming in and adjust to the temps that will save the most energy. I told her the unit will not get hot and at best a little bit hight than rom temps. But that how the unit workes. I ran a rinse and sping and completed agitating and draining and spinning. Unit is good.

CX complaint knobs on oven get too hot. Call Techline and discussed with them and found I needed to perform heat soak test on unit. Set unit to 400°. Once unit hit 400° set a timer for one hour. Left and went to another job and came back within the hour once arrived used infrared heat gun to check temperatures on the face of unit and on knobs. temps at knobs were temperature on knob skirt was 113° all other temperatures that I could check. Were also In spec. CX was also concerned about the unit turning off and turning on she was not aware that that is now how the units work and that there is a safety on the door switch to turn the flame off and come back on after two minutes. Tested functionality of unit. Unit is working as designed job complete

"cx complaint received notice saying unit needs service. inspected unit and verified complaint. serial# in range of service pointer for heater replacement. asked if unit has leaked, cx said he not sure and showed me some water damage in cabinet under sink, pic saved. doesnt seem like its from dishwasher. pulled unit out and can see some water stains on cutout floor. noticed a bunch of streaks on back wall of cutout, pics saved. no signs unit has leaked from heater. replaced heater and tested. no leaks from unit at this time. advised cx it seems the windows may be leaking but advised him to call a handy man to find cause of water damage since it doesnt appear to be from dishwasher. cx understands. unit is now working properly"

"Replaced dispenser UI, pantry UI and LED board as per previous diagnosis. When i tested unit the dispenser UI blinked out for a fraction of a second. I double checked the connections and all plugs are secure. After that the dispenser UI had not blinked out again. If this happens again, we may need a left RC door. Leds are working properl;y. cx has no issue with the unit i checked sprayers and the filter all clean ran dia test unit washing and working great explained to cx that running hot water at sink for a few mins to get hot water up to dishwasher cx is elderly and can't really understand that the unit is working because she is use to her older unit i explained everything and she wrote it down but i also told her to if she ever just has a question on something she's confused about she could call us or whirlpool very nice lady.
