He wants the UI and control replaced at the same time. If the unit continues to have defrost issues it will be processed as non repairable. Unit will not work properly even if defrost issue is resolved because unit is in garage. This will not cause a defrost issue though. Ran high spin speed test, actuator pulls splutch into gear and speeds up then kicks F7E1 error code. Replaced actuator, issue persists. Ran a timed dry cycle on high temp. Using thermocouple got temp cycling between 121F and 157F at the exhaust. Got 2 times power faillure message on the display with no reason and also the display turned blank on e time when I opened the door. "Per prior diagnosis, arrived to cx address with FR to properly uninstall MW. on arrival found that the cabinet trim that was needing to be removed to uninstall MW was not removed. unit was not sitting inside the mounting bracket on the wall so corrected that to safely back screws out to try and see behind unit. because of the trim we could not properly diagnose the issue but this is an installation issue. the builder/installer did not properly install this MW. the unit was not in the mounting bracket, holes in the cabinet above the unit are not where they should be so the unit does not sit flush causing the door to swing shut on the cx. there are also dents and scratches from install that are past the cosmetic period. cx has to resolve these with the builder/installer. cx has to do list.; ordrng 1 look (look)"

"cx complaint unit still making noise. inspected unit no noise right now right hand door the closure is not closing on its own. fixed door and now closes on its own spring was not in right postion. i then ran test 3 all fans sound good,, test 4 i get some noise when compresor is running, test 5 i ran and removed rear cover and noise started happening and cx confirmed noise. noise is coming form condenser rattling when compresor is at full ramp. used pads from v/s and adjusted condenser best i could then leveld unit and now sounds alot better. told cx to keep an eye on noise. unit is good; ordrng 2 w11553819 (insulation SD V/S)s, used 2 w11553819 (insulation SD V/S) from stock"

"cx complaint unit not working. inspected unit then checked for errors and had f8e1. ran service cycle and when filling hot valve is loud cold valve fills slow and when spinning unit was so loud i had to run out of the room something in the gearcase is bad. unit needs gearcase,splutch,belt,and valve. ordering parts for return 2 count job on return for gearcase; ordrng 1 W11210463 (valve) and 1 W11454741 (gearcase) and 1 W11239857 (belt) and 1 W10721967 (splutch) and 1 W10913953 (actuator) and 1 look (look)"
