CX complaint refrigerator. Temperatures are too cold. After previous text visit he had found this unit need a new control and thermistor. Arrive today and checked temperatures and had 4° in the freezer and 30° in the refrigerator. Unplugged unit replace control removed back panel and refrigerator and found a short thermistor hanging from ceiling and the long for Mr. on panel. I do not know why a small one was installed. Removed birthday misters and tested in a glass of ice water and had 6.7 K ohms on both. Plugged in original long thermistor and replaced all back panel parts found that part of diffuser cover is defective and needs to be replaced and also going to order the proper thermistor for a return visit.; ordrng 1 W11256504 (Air diffuser cover) and 1 W11438736 (Air diffuser cover thermistor)

I also found that the compressor was coming on and buzzing and shutting right back off. I checked the compressor and found it to be reading 5.2 Ohms, 6.6 Ohms and 11.8 Ohms. I called MM and gave him my findings. I am ordering the compressor, evap, drier and other related parts. Will also need a 3 call count for SS repair. "Cx complaint unit has intermittent drain issues. Upon arrival unit was displaying F9E1, FAE2, and F7E1 error codes. Removed cover plate and inspected under unit. i found the drain punmp is very loud when draining. i looked inside of unit and noticed has old style heater element that still has the copper colored o ring around the element. i pulled unit out aand noticed the way the drain hose is routed has pinched the line coming from the syphon break on the unit. this has caused the drain pump to work harder and make the drain pump loud. i re-routed the drain hose behind the unit to avoid this from happening, i replaced the drain pump and element from v/s and tested unit. unit is now working properly.; ordrng 1 W11412291 (drain pump (AH V/S) look) and 1 W11537778 (element (AH V/S) look), used 1 W11412291 (drain pump (AH V/S) look), and 1 W11537778 (element (AH V/S) look) from stock"

"Cs unit is not cooling both sections, confirmed complaint. Unit is not cooling. Upon inspection i found the compressor starts to humm for about 15seconds then shuts down. Compressor extremly hot to the touch at 208degrees and pulling 603 watts when it tries to kick on. Compressor is seized and needs to be replaced. Customer is not very happy and says he will be calling whirlpool to see what they can do for him. Customer denied repairs at this time. I collected $120 for service call."
