CX complaint came home from work one day and unit was making a loud buzzing noise. Woke up the next morning and found everything in freezer. Had gone soft. Arrive today to unit being unplugged plug unit up to wall start device kicked on and compressor was making a loud metallic sound. It would last for about 20 seconds and then would kick off after another minute. It would start again do the same noise and then kick off. Called a H and explain to him the situation and let him hear the noise was told the compressor is locked up or a bad start device. I was told to order compressor kit for a sealed system repair.
