"I was able to uninstall the unit and replaced the harness. I then tested and found the same results. I reented Diag and found errors to include F10E2 and F10E3. I ran the unit with the vent fan connected and found the disruption at the UI causing the unit to malfuntion. I canceled the cycle and disconnected the vent fan motor. I then ran the unit and found it to be opperating as designed. I called Whirlpool and explained my finds. I am ordering 1 vent fan motor (W11414073) . "cx complaint is the ice making not shutting off when bin is full causing ice to spill, ice jamming in the chute causing water to drip from dispensor and the water filter not coming out. when i arrived ice bin was full to a normal level. nothing in the chute. i found the plastic tab on filter housing that pulls the filter back had come out of place. once back together the filter goes in and out easily. installed new filter that cx had on hand. tested IM with full bin in place. arm hit the ice so tray returned to home position without dumping anymore ice. thats working properly. i showed this to cx. cubes in the bin look good. unit is working as designed."

"Customer complaint unit is leaking from the dispenser, The freezer started getting warm and is making a buzzzing noise. I tested the unit and the freezer was reading -5 and still going down the refrigerator was about 40 on the top of the unit and lower part was colder about 34 and in the drawer about 34 unit is cooling for me today. I ran test for and the three way vavle is louder thatn normal and i can hear the vavle moving position and stops the compressor turns on and sounds like is sqeezing gas or something then stops. When i ran compressor test the compressor is quite and is working fine on low speed. When on high speed the compressor is very loud and humming and it keeps getting louder and louder. Cx complaint that the unit is not starting. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. The start button is not responding at all. I entered test mode and it just continually flashes 'f6e2'. I cycled power and it did the same thing. I enter test mode and checked the interface test and most buttons did not respond. The unit needs a new control and UI panel. Cx complaint they heard a loud bang and found screws on the floor along with side panel bowed out. Was able to access unit and found that the chasis where the screws go the holes were stipped and the screws slide in and out. Reached out to techline and spoke to Sterling. Unit is unrepairable and should not be used as heat can escape and cause damage to cabinets. Customer service will reach out to cx for next steps.

cx says the unit stopped working miud cycle and left water in the bottom of the unit. was able to cancel the cycle and the water drained out. filled the unit with water and saw the water is white(pic). drained the unit and it is draining very slowly. drain tube ran on the outside of the unit causing the3 line to pinch. reseated the hose and tested. the unit is now draining good. the unit is good

Noted that unit has low water pressure through door, water flowing in at low rate. Removed filter, flow rate increased noteably. Low water pressure to ice maker can cause freezing issues, water trickles in and freezes in the line/resservoir. Cx states he has known issues with water/pressure sediment in the home and is getting them addressed, advised him to minitor water flow from door and change/remove filter as necessary to prevent problem from reoccuring."

After that there were no leaks at brazed joints. Vac'd unit down to 30in for 15mins. Filled with 68g of R600a. Tested unit and the compressor came on and stayed on. Informed CX 24-36hrs for unit to get to temps. Fridge now working as designed. Job is complete"

Gave cx quote for full repair and he'll be purchasing new unit. Cx paid $240 for service and labor

replaced part ordered and tested and checked unit. was able to go through all settings and start a load and run all functions. unit checks. job complete.

"Cx complaint is, ICE MAKER IS NOT WORKING. Checked unit and seen ice was in the ice maker molding. Ice never fully formed for ice maker to put ice in the bin. Ice maker ice is working properly, and the freezer is not reaching prowr temperature. Cx has digital thermometer reading 28 degrees. I used my thermocouple and got 32 in the refrigerator. Cx complaint ui has no function. Found complaint removed front panel and tested voltage at control had 122vac from black to white. Powered unit down and replaced Consol. Unit now has functions and working. Ran test cycle and now working as intended. JOB COMPLETE

installed new dispesner customer informed me unit still has bubbles at end of cycle replaced dispenser ran empty no bubbles added rinse aid and ran diag bubbles in tub informed customer to try to dilute rinse aid as its causing bubbles

rent a center stated the unit had been dropped down many steps and unit is longer repairable called tech line spoke with chris unit not repairble

Customer complaint is that the unit is still leaking from the front underneath. Ran the unit with a load of small towels to see if putting the unit under stress would cause the leak. Was not able to produce the visible leak that the customer is experiencing. Issue is internal where I cannot currently access to determine the source of the problem. Will need a 2nd tech to remove the full size dryer from on top. Adding dispenser assy and valve hose as pre-id's.
