Arrived to cx address to repair per prior tech's diagnosis. while talking with the cx found that RAC had done work to the unit on the water lines and in doing so compromised the liner of the unit. they filled the holes with putty to try and seal it back up but warm air is still able to enter the unit. the water lines are also kinked in some spots passing through the liner. this is a non servicable area. called WPTL spoke to Adrian. cx contacted RAC for further actions. job complete

"cx complaint unit making grinding/rattling noise, water splashes on the lid and sometimes clothes dont seem like they got wet and some of the clothes are warm but not all of them. inspected unit and verified complaint. advised cx that splashing on the lid is normal because the water coming out of the faucet hits the basket close to the top. hoses arent reversed and have good water pressure coming all valves, noticed loud whistling noise from valve when hot was filling. cx played me video of sound and it sounds like slider or gearcase. tried replacing slider but there is alot of play in gearcase. leveled unit, ran calibration and autotest, can still hear noise. ordering gearcase, slider, clutch, control and valve. call cx to schedule return once we have eta on parts.; ordrng 1 W11449841 (gearcase) and 1 W10754448 (clutch) and 1 W10734521 (slider) and 1 W11510463 (control) and 1 W11220230 (valve) and 1 LOOK (LOOK)"

Arrived to the job and inspected unit and found that this unit has a steel braided line which is not compatible with the pressure regulator. Found that when disconnecting the water filter theres a lot of pressure behind it and reinstalling it. You have to muscle it on because of the pressure. Ordering pecks line to properly secure pressure regulator. That way that this issue is no longer present. Will return when parts come in.; ordrng 1 W10267701RP (Pex line) and 1 Look (Look)"

"CX complaint: ice stops from fusing together. Tested but was unsuccessful in duplicating the effect. IB at 7 degrees, FC at 1.7 and RC at 40 degrees. This is the same problem this unit has had all along but the problem is intermitant. I think could be the damper failing, or scroll fan failing or possibly control problem. Quoted CX price to replace damper, scroll fan, wheel and control. I recommended CX to contact WP and request a concession since this has been same problem all along. Parts needed would be damper WPW10196393, scroll fan W10309863, wheel WPW10123444K and control W11399844. I advised CX to contact WP and request a concession since this has been the same problem since the beginning. Job is complete pending CX contacting WP"

cx complaint preheated oven and went to place in a item and found the bottom of unit was glowing red. inspected unit and found a hole in the bake element cover. removed cover and found bake element shorted to ground and had a thermal event. element no longer has continuity. tested for voltage to element and found 240.5vac. I found then found bake element was getting 240 all the time. unit needs bake element and control. called safety. qouted cx for full repair $517.43. cx declined repair. no more work needed.

"Upon arrival Unit was working as designed except for the ice maker. FC temp was-2 and RC was 37. Evap fan running properly. Checked voltage from control and got 12.74vdc and same at fan itself. CX claims that carboard on boxes gets soft every now and then. Checked line going into IM and it was not frozen, however the fitting on valve itself was cracked in half. This is the reason water is not getting to IM. Made sure line was seated properlySpoke to Ed at WPTL (SR#7734846698). Went over findings and was tolf all my readings were good. Thinks the soft boxes are from unit being in defrost or CX leaving door open accidentally. Ordering dual valve. Spoke to CE and CX rescheduled for 12/9/22.; ordrng 1 W11482383 (dual valve)"
