The customers complain is a unit will not complete the cycle. Customer stated it will not spin the clothes out it will not drain it will not fill with water. I found F8E1 error code. I looked and checked the water valve to the unit and found the hot water valve was completely turned off only cold water was on. I cleared the code and opened up the house water valve from the wall to the unit on the hot side because it was completely shut off. I then ran auto test mode twice. I advise customer I believe this is the issue with the unit. Customer did not believe me and had me wait while she did a normal cycle almost through the whole cycle. Customer loaded clothes but soap in the unit and we sat there for probably 30 minutes. Watching the unit perform it's normal cycle The normal cycle performed very well and did all functions as required as now it has a full amount of water entering in the system due to turning the hot water on at the wall. Unit is now working properly. After testing it did not have any error codes.

Inspected the unit. Found that the cx is saying that the Ice Maker is making Thin peaces of Ice. Ran a Normal Cycle on the unit to see how the Water Reservoir is filling with Water. Water Flow is really Slow. Filled Water Reservoir with Water as the unit was filling. Waited for ice to be dispensed. Unit made a big slab of Ice. Unit has a Reverse Osmosis System with 3 Different lines hooked to the Main Water Line. ( Any questions please check Sd Pictures.) Unit will need its own dedicated Waterline to be hooked to the Unit. If the cx changes this then still have the same issue then unit will need the Main Water Inlet = W10897719. Cx paid for the Service Call by Card.

Inspected the unit. Found that the cx is saying that the Refrigerator Ice Maker has a slow production. Ran Service Diagnostics on the unit. Ran Service Test 56 - Ice Maker Error Codes. Getting E1 = No Cool. Ran Service Test 36 - Ice Maker Fan Motor. Ice Maker Fan Motor is turning on and off. I then ran Service Test 57 - Ice Maker Harvest Test. Ice Maker Harvested. I then ran Service Test 45 - Ice Maker Fill Test. Ice Maker Filled with Water. Checked the Freezer Evaporator. Evaporator is showing signs of the Coils being Iced Over. ( Please see Sd Pictures if any questions.) There is Ice in the Bin from the Ice Maker. Order the Freezer Fan Motor = W11249952. Don't go without parts. Cx will need to call Whirlpool to get an Authorization. Cx will not pay for anything. Called office about this issue. Service call is Covered only.

Cx complaint that the unit is leaking at the right corner and is making a loud vibration at the beginning. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. The loud vibration is from the drain pump running without water in the beginning of the cycle. I let the unit run for 20min with the front panel off. There was no leak at all from each corner. I told the cx there was a possibility that a dish or untensil obstructed a wash arm creating an overflow to the right side. I asked the cx to record and take photos if it happens again. The unit is working as designed.

I pulled unit out and after pulling it the pump turnded on and started draining but very slow the line is kinked and the pump turned off the ice maker to protect over flow. Cx complaint door stuck and humming noise. After previous tech visit he had found unit needed a few parts to properly fix. Removed control and drain pump while under unit and replaced with new parts. Removed lid and replaced pressure switch. Removed front of unit and replaced lid latch. Connected unit to supplied water line and power down in the service area. Ran cycle on quick wash for complete cycle. Unit now works and operates correctly. Door unlocks and no humming noise on any step. Unit is now working as intended. Job compete
