RC temp is 58. freezer is covered in frost build up and fan is hitting ice cuasing noise. cleared all ice. i found the defrost heater was not sitting in the drain pan properly. the tabs that hold it to the pan were not folded over the heater. moved heater and used tabs on drain pan to hold it in place. unit is now working as designed. person who was home was a friend of cx and said he didnt want to sign TY card. left card for cx."

"when i arrived unit was put back together and unit had power. i found the controls board sitting loose in the unit so the buttons were flush with front of unit. tested all functions and they all seem to be working fine. fan is not needed. new control board is damaged, box was open when i arrived and the fan button is broken off the control. tried to reinstall original board but there are no mouting holes, no clips, nothing to hold the board in place. parts diagram doesnt show any missing parts. called techline, they couldnt find any info. they had me send pictures so they could have engineering figure it out. left TY card on unit. no one is here, house is new contruction so no one to sign card. whirlpool will be in contact to figure out next step.; saved tckt"

CX complaint refrigerator is not cooling arrive today and verified complaint. Inspected air ducts and found completely clogged of ice. Inside of freezer has frost built up all over the ceiling and door. Found customer will sometimes not close freezer all the way as well as refrigerator door causing warm air to enter unit and calls buildup of ice. Removed all parts inside freezer using steam gun removed all ice and cleaned inside of unit. Inspected air duct holes in refrigerator and they are now clear reassembled unit and plugged in power. Waited 10 minutes. Unit is cooling and air is entering refrigerator section. Explain to customer to make sure the doors are closed with these units. Its easy to forget to close because it does not have an alarm. Unit is now working as designed job complete

CX complaint the unit has cosmetic damage that needs to be repaired. Arrive today and verified complaint found unit door to have damage caused by installers. As well as damage to black outer cabinet. Also found unit was not hung correctly and the hinges that hold the door were bent. Customer received a door from whirlpool back in December 2022. Apparently the builder did not take care of it when he should have. Call Techline to document all damage. SR number is above. Talk to trade care to see if theres anything we can do. Tree care said that the customer should call the builder for them to take care of any issues. That they would not cover any of the damages. Gave quote to customer. Inspected the unit. Found that the cx is saying that the Refrigerator isn't cooling. Checked the Freezer Section. Found that the whole Evaporator is Iced over. Checked the Thermistor. I'm getting 11K Ohms. I then checked the Heater Harness. Found that the Brown Wire has backed out. Heater Harness ohmed out to be 80.1 Ohms. I then removed all Ice with Steam Gun. Plugged Heater in and taped the connection. Tested the Heater Element. Heater Element is Heating. Unit is working as Designed. ( Please see Sd Pictures if any questions.)

I ran a test cycle and found the unit tobe opperating as designed. CX had suds residue inside the tub. I edjucated CX on the affects of suds in the diswaher. CX is going to run white vinagar cycles to address the suds and sanitize the unit. Install and Instruct has been Fulfilled. Unit test good.

CX complaint customer found when placing knob to simmer. Flame was too high. Arrived to unit and inspected and found. Customer was only turning knob to the word simmer and did not know she could go past it to go to the lowest setting. Inspected all flames and found back left burner to be the only one that needs to be adjusted. Adjusted flame And made sure everything else worked on unit. Found writing on cover to be naturally coming off from cleaning. Unit is working as designed job complete.
