Cx complaint is that the unit is making a loud banging when spinning. Upon arrival I found that the unit has an F8E1 and an F0E1. I cleared the codes and ran the diag test and found that the hot water was turned off to the unit. I turned the valve on. i also noticed that the outlet also has a Tank Monitor box plugged into it with the washer. I explained to the cx that the unit needs its own dedicated outlet/circuit. Reservoir and valve are frozen. Found cold air bleeding down from where the ice maker fill tube go up into the top of the cabinet. Air is bleeding around the gaskets at the back of the ice box assembly and getting over it, freezing the reservoir and valve. Unit needs a new valve and gaskets. Removed cover and when pulliung cover out the fan began to run. The wires were pinched causing fan to run periodically. Also found the knob for damper control was disconnected, reconnected and set damper open as it was closed. Air now circulates throughout both sections. Unit checks good"

"Customer complaint is that the unit is stuck in sensing. Unit checked for stored error codes and found F7E4. Ran test cycle and the unit will not shift properly into spin and stay locked in. Inspection of the drive system found the rotor bolt loose and the gearcase leaking oil. Rotor removed and slider and clutch inspected. Found the slider is coming apart and wearing on the clutch. Unit needs a new slider, clutch, and gearcase. Checked to make sure the wash plate was removable and it is not, washplate is seized to the gearcase. Cx complaint is that the unit has water /ice on the bottom of the FC. Upon arrivla I found that the Drain tube is clogged and causing water to make it to the floor. I was able to clear the drain. I also found that the FC door gasket is not sealing in the bottom as well and is letting frost build up in the compartment.. Cx also stated that the water is not dispensing as it should. I found that the filter housing is faulty. I quoted the cx for the cost of the repair. Cx paid all but the labor.
