"CX complaint: smelling gas. Tested and verified complaint. I found gas leaks in 2 places. At the gas valve at the wall i was getting a leak at the valve handle. From the cooktop i was getting a leak at 2 of the burners, back right and front left. It seems the gas valves for those burners may not be closing all the way or some other defect allowing gas through. Called WP Safety. to document. "CX complaint is WM not spinning. Replaced gearcase per prior diagnosis. Had a hard time getting gearcase in place but eventually did get it in. After putting unit back together i calibrated and tried to test it and had lid lock failure(F5E2). Unit wont move past fill and drain in test cycle. Ordering control and lid lock. Had cold water cpvc line break during repair. Went and bought new valve, shark bite couplers and cpvc line and repaired line. Water in floor of laundry room and lower level indoor/outdoor carpet. I cleaned and dried laundry room. CX stated she was worried about carpet that she would wet vac it herself and let it dry (CX signed TY stating such). Cannot reschedule due to AIG auth req. "CX complaint unit will not start. After previous text visit he had found this unit needed a new control and user interface. Arrived today and verified complaint and found error code F6E1. Cut power to unit and removed outer door skin. Found a good amount of water on UI. Found that touch panel for UI, the glue holding on panel had come up and was letting water get to UI. Replace control and temporary fixed panel so water would not come through reassembled unit and powered on and had no response at user interface. Placed old user interface on and had power. I also found that while the unit is running the lower door seal is not sealing properly. I als found that inlet port on the left of the tub is loose and allowing water to leak. I was able to tighten the port and verify it is no longer leaking. I am ordering the dispenser and door seal. I turned on cooling and removed cover for evaporator. Unit was running for about 15 minutes and never started a frost pattern. I could hear gas and liquid traveling through. This unit has compressor warranty. Called MM and spoke with him, he had stated that unit needed compressor and that its possible after thats installed it may need an evap but we cant tell until we get this thing cooling.
