"cx complaint is a metal on metal scrapping noise. checked for codes and found F3E3. cleared code and ran service cycle. unit completed cycle with no issues. inspected drive motor, no signs of wear or damage. ran agitation and high speed spin with no issues. ran drain pump and it startedd making a loud rattling noise. cx said thats the noise. found 3 nails in the drain pump. inspected water valves and found the black wire on temp sensor had backed out of the connector so it was not sending temp info to the board. once inserted the sensor worked and error did not return. unit is now working as designed."

"Customer complaint is that the unit is noisy in rinse. Ran test cycle and the unit ran through all parts of the cycle, but there was a lot of wiggle during spin for an empty drum. Inspection of the drive system found no obvious issues. Washplate is secure. Suspension tested good and the cabinet is level. Had the customer grab a load of towels and ran a quick wash cycle to try to duplicate the issue. There is a dragging noise coming from the gearcase in spin. When the unit went to slow down, it did not sound like the splutch was fully engaged, make a loud knock. Inspected the unit. Found that the cx is saying that the Refrigerator is making a chatter noise while Dispensing Water. I then took the Water Filter out and tested the unit. No noise . I then put the Water Filter in and tested the unit. Unit is chattering. Checked the house Water shut off to the refrigerator. Cx has a Seattle Valve that isn't open all the way because if it is open all the way it will leak water. Cx will need to replace Water Filter & Water Valve to house. (Please see Sd Pictures if any questions.) Per whirlpool Techline. Cx is to replace the Water Filter & to replace House Water shut off .
