Cx complaint is that the unit is not making ice consistantly. Upon arrival I found an F5 error code. I then checked the temps in the FC and found that the unit is currently going thru a defrost cycle. I found the temps to be at 10-11 degrees. I then ran test 57 and the ice maker was able to harvest without any issues. I removed the FC evap cover and inspected the evap and did not see any signs of a SS leak. Inspected the unit. Found that the cx is saying that the Refrigerator isn't cooling. Checked the pressures to the unit. I'm getting 43 Psi on the high side & -10 on the low. I then pulled the unit into a vacuum. Filled the unit with 140 Psi of Nitrogen and checked for leaks. No leaks found. Gauges stayed at 140 Psi for 20 mins. Pulled unit into a deep vacuum. Filled the unit with R600 to 1.95 Oz's. Unit is starting to Cool. Pressures are 53 Psi on the high side & 0 on the low side. Called Whirlpool Techline. ( Any questions please check Sd Pictures.)

"cx complaint unit still producing excessive ice. inspected and immediately contacted techline. during call with techline was asked to test thermistor (isolated/at its dedicated connector) as well as the thermsitor and harness at the control. tested results both in room temp settings as well as in the bin of ice. consistently read 3k+/- at room temp and 7.4k while in ice. per techline that would typically indicate a working thermistor but because the control was already replaced and the harness is determined to be good, the only variable would then be the thermistor DESPITE THE TEST RESULTS INDICATING OPERATIONAL. explained this to cx and cx decidedly did not want to proceed with repair."

"Cs frost in the fc and food freezing in the rc. Confirmed complaint. I found the unit at 14 degrees with thermistor reading 16k ohms, with in spec. Notice door gasket wasnt sealing to floor not being leveled and door snag. I was able to apply some wedges to the right side and twist cabinet back in place so door wont rub. Also applied some heat to gaskets so doors can seal even better. Unit is now working properly."
