Inspected evaporator, found it leaking, damaged by a spark coming from the bi-metal connection. "Per previous tech I was able to access and replace the motor, blower wheel and timer. i then tested the unit and found that the issue is still persisting. I called TL and spoke with Kirt. We checked the voltage at several points and found that the harness is causing the voltage to drop when the pts switch is pressed. We were able to get the unit to run normally when I had my leads in the white wire of the door switch and the 6b (black) wire on the motor. I also found that the belt is frayed in several spots and the Idler is not tracking properly. I am ordering the harness, belt and idler. please contact the cx when the parts are available to schedule the return visit. "cx complaint the unit is not cooling. checked the unit and found that the unit is either low or restricted due to the frost pattern. checked pressures and -20 on low side and high side 75. went ahead and removed all gas and added nitrogen to the system to see if i can find a leak. no leak found on any connectiions visible. removed all nitrogen from the system and let it vac down. vac no problem. added r600 to the system and checked pressures. low side was at -2 and high side 85. unit seems to be good. the only three options i think was the possible cause was either low charge, restriction, or miniscule leak that cant be detected by the gauges. called techline to document just incase the issue persists."

"cx complaint is the unit not moving air when fan is running. she says the fan runs but it doesnt pull any fumes from cooktop. cx said its been like this since they moved in years ago. i found fan is running fine. went outside to the duct and found the flapper was not opening. reached inside and found a baffle that was stuck shut. once opened unit flowed a lot of air. went inside and held a piece of paper under the hood, it sucked the paper up. unit is now flowing properly. cx paid 120 for service call."
