"cx complaint unit making several strange noises and seems to be making ice slowly. inspected unit and verified complaint. cx said she dumped out ice last night before bed and the container is half full at this time. seems icemaker is making ice fine, advised cx it could take up to 3days to fill the container. temps are good, 40 in rc and 8 in fz, no overfrosting. one of the noises is creaking when opening and closing door. tried greasing hinge but no change, found creaking noise is metal on metal of frame of unit, cant do anything to change it. another noise is groaning sound, adjusted drier to 45* angle to try and get that noise to be quieter, advised cx they may still hear it. all other noises seem normal. also advised r600a compressors run a little noisier. see sticky notes"

Unit is low on charge. On previous visit 3/12/22 dye was installed into the system to try and find a leak in the future. Was unsuccessful in finding any dye with black light on any exposed tubing. Replaced dye drier with a new one and refilled unit. If cx experiences issues in the future, and dye is still not visible, techline must be called to go over future steps. Unit is working as designed. Job is complete."

I found that the venting on the exterier of the home is heavely linted possible restricting air flow. I was able to educate CX on opperation of her e;lectric dryer and deminstrated the importance of cleaning the lint trap after every use. I advised CX to have a lincesed Vent cleaning company inspect the venting from the wall to the outside of the home.

cx complaint unit is losing cooling. inspected unit and found frost build up on outside of evap cover. checked control and found correct one was in unit. removed evap cover and found heater wire pulled out of connector. being heater is BO and cx is out of warranty. I qouted both the heater and a connector repair. cx went with connector repair. I fullly removed connector and installed a shrink wrap butt connector. I found heater now actives. unit to take 24hrs to get back to full temp. charged cx $180 for repair.

Cx complaint is that the unit is making noise the longer it runs. Upon arrival the cx showed me a video of the unit having the issue. I then started the unit and left ir dry on timed for several minutes. After 5 minutes I could here the noise starting and getting louder. I inspected it and found that the blower wheel is cracked and it hitting the blower housing as it expandes. I am ordering the motor and blower and the roller kit. Then when it attempted to spin it stopped immediately and flashed the F7E1 error code again. I am ordering the shift actuator.
