Per previous tech I was able to access and replace the control and when I accessed the fan I found that the unit has an ice ball built up in the top RH corner of the FC evap at cap tube. I callled JL and informed him of what I found. I replaced the evap fan and then did and amp draw and found that the unit is drawing 2.29 amps when compressor is at max speed and 1.11 amps at min. I am ordering the sealed system repair with both evaps and compressor/drier. cx complaint is units temps are way out of range and wont heat to higher temps or hold temps. she started unit to 450 when i was on the way to tests ranges. she has round temp guage in unit. put my didgital in unit as well to match or see temps of all three then check control. after pre heat unit set to 450 and i read 469 her guage was 455 control read 469. she said long bakes and so on unit wont hold or bake like it should and so on. i see all the notes and so on. replaced control and sensor and tested unit again. ranges were closer together. cx will try to bake a few times and see how unit does. job complete.

I then removed the kick plate and found that the element has warped and allowed the element to short out on the housing. I called safety and informed them of my findings. "cx complaint is the ice having a bad taste and smell and the water dispensor being very slow. confirmed complaint. even with filter removed the water flow is very slow. pulled unit out and looked for shut off valve but its not behind the unit. line goes into the floor and i cant find shut off downstairs or under sink.
