cx complaint unit is not making ice. inspected unit and foudn temps 9 in freezer and fridge is 40 unit going through defrost. found ice in bin all clompped up to rear left side of ice bin. shook bin and ice is level now then cycle ice maker and it cycled and filled with water juust fine. cx then said ice dispenser doesnt dispense so checked that augar motor hums and does not spin the bin. tried spinning augar by hand and is stuck. reinstalled bin and tried again and now it works dispensing ice just fine. turned temps down and told to keep an eye on ice maker for next 30 days it should work fine. unit is good to go

complaint is the unit displaying F7E1. i checked for codes and found that was the only 1 saved. ran service cycle. during agitation the washplate only turned CCW. unit did not spin. i found red wire going to capacitor has broken at the connector. capacitor also reads OL. unit will need a new lower harness and cap. guard on drive motor has also been hitting the belt. guard is damaged but belt and pulley look fine. ordering parts. schedule when available and apporved.; ordrng 1 W11405458 (lower harness) and 1 W11087188

CX complai t was that the unit will not heat in the oven. I was able to enter diag and found a F9 error code. I inspected teh outlet and the erm block and found the propper 240 V's . I removed the rear and found good continuity to the broil & bake elements as well as the thermal fuse. I found in a bake cycle 238V's to the bake element. I fou d no voltage to the broil element during a broil cycle. I quoted CX for the cost of repair to include a control board. CX informed me that he will replace the unit. I collected $120.00 for service charges.

"CX complaion t was that the unit was making a clicking soun d and that she smelt burnig / smoke. I throroughly inspected the units vinting by removing the vent housing to inspect blower wheel, the term block was found secure , I inspected the heating element and found no issues. I also was able to access and remove the drum and inspected the belt and motor. I was able to run the unit witout the dum in and with the drum in. I found no signs of concerns . Noise concerns were that the small debirs in the venting when the unit is started and the unit pulls air theough the venting. Unit is opperating as designed. I was able to call and explain my findings to WP Saftey team. Please see SR. UNit test good."
