So he said if we can fix the ice problem then the replace the evap cover but if the ice problem is not fix dont worry replaceing the other part. I repalce everything to fix the ice dispensing issue. And still doing it. I called techline and they said that it was probably user error and that is normal. Customer is not happy and they want a new one. They are calling kitchen aid and bray scarff for replacement. Because after we replace a bunch parts now that issue is normal. Door gasket is failing and the water line is leaking. "Cx complaint is that the unit is not spinning clothes out at the end of cycles. Upon arrival I found that there was an F7E5 error code. I then ran the diag test and found that the agitator is staying engaged and the spin basket is not engaging. I found that the shifter was not moving the splutch arm and was just clicking. I accessed the shifter and splutch and found that the splutch also has excessive play in it and is jamming up. I was able to replace the shifter with the pre Id'd one and the splutch with one from van stock .I then found that the unit is functioning as intended. Cx complaint is that the unit is shutting off before the cycle is completed. Upon arrival i found no error codes. I also started a drain and spin and ofund that the unit started and ran that with no issues. I then had the cx throw a load of laundry and and ran the quick wash cycle and found that the unit was able to complete the cycle as intended. I was unable to replicate any issues.
