Did vent test and unit does not have good suction coming from vent. Removed vent ducting from rear of unit and retested, unit gained significant suction. Insereted thermal probe into exhaust, unit reaches 160*F and cycles down to 125*F thermal fuses all check good at 0.0 ohms, unit is recieving 240vac. Called techline to document spoke to Rick who agreed unit will need vent cleaned and inspected. No further work needed. CX EMAIL CONFIRMED."

"Cx states unit leaks every time no matter what cycle even after last visit. Was able to access unit and found some water on the floor but no signs where it might have come from. No error codes. Ran a rinse and spin no leak. Ran a quick wash with deep fill and 5 bath towels and during spin unit randomly started banging around even though clothes were balanced then spun normal again and thats when unit leaked. Ordering parts needed for repair of which tub and basket will ship to cx who will contact us and will need a 2 call count gearcase as well as belt, splutch, motor and suspension. "cx complaint unit failed and locked lid with a full tub of water and load of laundry inside. removed rear screws and lifted the top to gain access to tub and empty all remaining water. cx was also able to remove clothes at this point. lifted console and checked and found 120v to the J1 connector indicating unit receiving power. checked J15 connector and found 20.5ohms across J15-1/J15-2 indicating an intact harness but a drain pump that is more than 25% out of resistance range. unit will need new drain pump as root cause of problem, but because of the failed pump the control will also need to be replaced. quoted cx for repair, but due to cost of parts cx did not want to proceed. note: control CANNOT be replaced without first replacing the pump.; saved tckt"

"upon arrival found all temp readings to conflict with previous reports. did notice however that the cx is using digital thermometers to measure air temp, which is not an approved method of temp reading by Whirlpool. did not find any signs of defrost failure. contacted Techline and ran full testing procedure.
