Customer complaint unit is not making ice and is leaking to the point that now there is floor damage and though the floor into the basement. I found the ice maker is bad and is not harvesnting. But the unit tried to harvest and may be double filling. There is so much moiture in the unit and on the side of the FC door and dripping to the bottom. Good gasket seem to be sealing tested with a dollar bill and is holding the dollar bill. Maybe have something to do with the ice maker. The customer has not ac on and the kitchen is as warm as outside. I mentioned something about it but she said she has done this all the time and the unit never leaks is only when this issue started . She is very upset that the unit is not fix she needs to pay a more parts and the house is getting damaged.

Cx complaint is that the unit is making a loud grinding noise when running. I found that the unit is making the noise when slowing down spin. I tipped the unit back and accessed the splutch. I found the splutch nut to be secure. I then found that the shifter was not fully going into position causing the testh to catch and wear down. I quoted the cx for the cost of the repair. Cx paid in full. I was then able to replace the splutch and shifter. I then tested the unit and found that it is now functioning as intended. Job complete

Ran Service Diagnostics on the unit. Error codes are F8E1 = Long Fill. I then ran components activation. Found that the cold water Valve is only allowing a little bit of water into the Drum .Cleared error code from the unit. Installed new Inlet Valve Dispenser Assembly. "Confirmed cx complaint unit fogging up in UI, UI becoming non responsive when cooking sometimes. Found UI ground harness loose, potential electrical damage to UI. Cx states issues happened after she roasted veggies and the UI got steamed up, causing the unit to lock until it cooled down/dried out. Blower fan is currently working, no error codes. Likely that unit isn't able to vent humidity quickly enough but ordering UI to be certain.; ordrng 1 W11616675 (ui)"

"CX had several concerns. 1st was cooling / fr=eezing food in RC. Food freezing in RC, venting in LR of RC is not completly clear possible causing air stright down the back wall causing produce to freeze. I took a temop reding in the RC and found when set to 39 a thermacoupling reding of 40 . In the FC when set a 0, a thermacoupling reading of 1 degrees. No cooling concerns. I addressed low water production. I found the filter was last repalced in 4/23 . Filter is heavy / clogged causing lowe water priduction. I used Bypass and foun d better water flow when clogged filter is removed. Ice jamoing and not dispenseing. I found that the yoke is stripped on the auger shaft. I quoted CX for the cost to replace the auger motor , yoke, and divider . I collected $120.00 for service charges."

"cx complaint is a constant smell of gas. cx said its not a very strong smell but its constant and a little worse when unit is in use. cx had gas company come out and they said gas is coming through vent at rear of unit. i pulled unit out and turned gas on while monitoring with meter. it didnt go off anywhere behind or inside the unit. i started a bake cycle and checked all around regulator, lines and vents. i called techline to document, they said slight smell from vent while in use is normal. they had me check around the shut off valve and run surface elements and check around them. meter still hasnt gone off. techline advised unit is working as designed. called safety"

"Customer complaint is that the front two burners do not boil water properly. Checked spuds against the owner's manual, but the manual states that there are supposed to be two spuds for the left front burner and this unit only has 1. Front two burners have 108AM spuds installed. Contacted Whirlpool tech support. Determined that the 108AM spuds are the ones that are supposed to be in there. Made a small adjustment to the valve stem screw for the LR burner, flame was going out and then relighting when turned to low. LR burner is now working properly. Unit does boil, but does not reach a rapid boil. Referred customer back to JennAir, unit is working as designed. Customer is not satisfied with this answer."

Advised to use affress once a month and leave lid open. Also found customer is using a full cup of detergent.
