"Customer complaint is that the unit has stopped cooling properly again. Inspection of the unit found the evaporator frozen over again. Defrost sensor is registering as open. Thermistor is registering -6 (28kohm) encased in frost. Thermistor plugged back in and rechecked. Thermistor is still registering as open. Defrost circuit is working, element is on in diagnostics. The harness that the thermistor connects to was replaced on the last visit as was the control. Contacted Whirlpool tech support with findings. Determined that it may be an issue with poor contact of the existing thermistor, otherwise will be a cabinet wiring problem. Thawing off the evaporator and replacing the thermistor. If the issue reoccurs, issue is in the cabinet wiring and cannot be fixed in the field."

Cx complaint is that the unit is making a loud grinding noise when running. I found that the unit is making the noise when slowing down spin. I tipped the unit back and accessed the splutch. I found the splutch nut to be secure. I then found that the shifter was not fully going into position causing the testh to catch and wear down. I quoted the cx for the cost of the repair. Cx paid in full. I was then able to replace the splutch and shifter. I then tested the unit and found that it is now functioning as intended. Job complete

Customer complaint unit is not making ice and is leaking to the point that now there is floor damage and though the floor into the basement. I found the ice maker is bad and is not harvesnting. But the unit tried to harvest and may be double filling. There is so much moiture in the unit and on the side of the FC door and dripping to the bottom. Good gasket seem to be sealing tested with a dollar bill and is holding the dollar bill. Maybe have something to do with the ice maker. The customer has not ac on and the kitchen is as warm as outside. I mentioned something about it but she said she has done this all the time and the unit never leaks is only when this issue started . Cx complaint is that the unit is making a loud grinding noise when the unit is at the end of the cycles. Upon arrival I found no error codes. i then manually ran the spin and found that the rotor/slider are not connecting properly. I tipped the unit back and found that the bolt was loose in the rotor. I removed the rotor and inspected the slider as well. I then rescured the rotor and tested the unit. Unit is now functioning as intended. Job complete. I collected the service charge.

"Inspected the unit. Found that the cx is saying that the Washer will not start a cycle. Ran Service Diagnostics on the unit. Error Codes are F7E8 = Motor Over Temperature. Checked the J10 on the Main Control Board. J10 is fully plugged in. Ohmed out pins 1 & 2 . I'm getting Open Line. Pins 2 & 3 = 17.2 Ohms. Pins 3 & 1 = Open Line. F4E0 = Heater Element Not Detected. I then checked the J15 Connector. J15 is fully plugged in. Ohmed out the J 15 connection. I'm getting 16.4 Ohms. Unit will need the Stator Motor = W10870751, Rotor = WPW10544980 & Control Board= W11201285. Cx paid for the Service Call Only by Card. If the cx calls back please Order the following parts. "CX complant, F6E4 error code again. Inspected unit and found F6E4 error code in diagnostics registered 5 times. Cleared cosde and tried oven . Oven heating fine. Called tech line, Told techline symptoms, Whats been changed and that oven working after clearing codes. Techline recomendes changing all parts again at same time , ordering all from plainfield so newest and in the meantime techline stated this could be a electrical issue, Due to unit randomly restarting on its own throughout the day. Customer complaint unit is leaking from the ice maker ice builds up and start to leak out of the door. I found the ice maker was off. Turned it on and the ice maker is harvesting but is getting hung with the ice level arm. ANd i can see the tray has stress marks. Dispensing foor and filtube is good. "CX complaint is that the unit is still giving a F9E1 error code. I found a F9E1 & F8E6 error stored. I cleared codes and ran a manuel test on the fill & drian, 2 auto test & 2 Recals. I found the unit tobe opperating as designed. I called WP Tech Line to discuss my findings. Unit is belived to be having a suds issue possible caused by consintrated detergaint being used / not messured triggering drain code. CX is advised to run 3 clean cycles with affresh back to back . then use 1-2 table spoons of detergaint due to consintrat and watrer shoftner system. Monatior unit after and report back if issues continue. No parts to be replaced at this time per TL.;"
