"Customer complaint is that the unit goes straight from sense to done. Customer started a cycle empty and the lid locked, unlocked, and the just sat for a while, occasionally spinning the basket about once a minute. Unit eventually stopped and gave error code F7E4. Started a test cycle and the unit filled, drained, and locked properly. but failed to agitate or spin as it should and gave error code F7E3. Capacitor tested at 50.7uF, but there was a sticky brown substance on the outside of the capacitor. Capacitor replaced and unit retested. Unit still refused to agitate or spin. Ordering control, lower harness, actuator, splutch, motor and belt. When basket is spun by hand, the gearcase grinds. Ordering gearcase as well. "Customer complaint is that the unit runs noisy, no temperature concerns. Evaporator fans tested good, no unusual noises, no ice build up on either evaporator. Compressor and condenser turned on with no unusual noises. 3 way valve is grinding instead of making the usual gentle knocking noise when changing positions. Ice box fan is working properly. Ice maker and valves are working properly. There is some ice melt in the ice bin. Suspect that the 3 way valve is not always changing position properly, resulting in intermittant ice build up on the freezer evaporator, resulting in the noise the customer is hearing from the fan cutting on ice. 30dp.cx complaint upon arrival began as dust from belt on floor of unit. with this in mind first lifted unit to evaluate the belt condition. found belt to look brand new and with no noticeable wear (pics attached to file). cx then stated unit would not spin clothes dry. noticed cx has a drain hose extension installed (which is not and approved whirlpool part) with about 3-4 feet worth of hose laying on the floor behind the unit. explained that this will backflow water into the unit at end of cycle. cx then evolved complaint to unit was 'smoking' during use. checked for error codes and found error f7e6 stored in diag. ran auto test and found counter clockwise winding of motor failed resulting in weak agitation but normal spin speeds. replaced motor and ran cal. cycle. unit now checks good.

the bottom of the refrigerator is 37f and the top of the refrigerator compartment is 57f. can hear the compressor on but no evaporator fan is active. test 57 activates the rc evaporator fan. rc evaporator clear of frost. ran test 40 step 4 the fan is blowing good. refrigerator evaporator gets no frost on it. replaced the compressor and vacuummed down the system. Filled system with 4.5oz of r134. test 40 step 1 pressures equilize to 35psi. step 4 low side pressure is 25psi and high side pressure is 90psi. step 5 low side pressure is 18 psi and high side pressure is 100 psi. main control and refrigerator evaporator cover already replaced. called tech support and spoke with an austin. cx to monitor since unit did start working while on the phone with techline

x complaint that unit is not operating when the hot water is selected. i found the for f7e9 and f2e1 i ran manual test and in manual testing the valve does open and put in hot and cold water. ran test 52 and reclaibrated and ran test 51 afterwards and ran through that no issues checked codes again and was getting the LF again and noisey hot valve opening.. will need the valve and acu for repair... call when in and approved to return...; ordrng 1 W11165546 (valve) and 1 W11429620 (acu)

cx complaint that unit is not powering on and the unit is brand new and they had a friend help hook up the unit for cx. the unit has 120 from white to red and 32 to black to newutral .. we do not have 240 volts incoming to the washer. the unit also has no internal ligjht coming on being lack of proper voltage to unit. they have the unit also direct wired to the electrical box and not an outlet to check.. cx admanent dryer is issue but infomred we NEED electrican out and once we can verify 240/120 each leg at dryer while power on we cant look further into the unit being its not even at the start block to power uinit.
