cx says the unit is freezing food throughout the refrigerator and when turning the ice maker back on she thinks there is a delay for it to start. refrigerator temp was 30f when we arrived and set to recommended. thermistor resistance is 6.9k in an ice bath. the old thermistor resistance in an ice bath is 6k. called tech support and spoke with a chris. file number was not gotten because the call failed as he was about to give it. Replaced thermistor with reading of 8.2 ohms in ice water.

However use dryer vent test kit and tag did NOT drop. Disconnected dryer vent tube and tag dropped. CX has a block vent that will keep blowing thermol fuses.

"cx complaint unit not cooling properly in both sections. unit unplugged upon arrival. cx said something was leaking and caused a sheet of ice in fz that was preventing door from closing. unable to check frost pattern since unit was unplugged. found drain clogged, unclogged drain and wiped up water in fz. also found deli ui not working, had water behind it but didnt see corrosion on board. unplugged deli ui so that wont cause other issues. advised cx to monitor for 2days and call back if unit isnt getting cold at all. cx paid 120 service call with check"
