"cx complaint unit not cooling properly. upon arrival cx said she was told by whirlpool that whole repair would be covered. advised auth# they gave only covers service call to diagnose unit. found frost on everything in fz as if door isnt sealing. sliderails arent pulling door shut and not sliding freely. cleared ice off evap that was enveloping fan, evap fan still running good. slide rails are sliding better now that theyre thawed out but can hear bearings grinding and springs are loud, will probably go bad again once it freezes. unit will need sliderails. called tradecare and she wants to check with supervisor and advised having cx call back in the morning with either pop from homedepot/builder or closing documents. if cx calls back without additional coverage, they will owe 550.56; ordrng 1 WPW10397636 (slide rail LH) and 1 WPW10397635 (slider rail RH)"

"CX complaint is water front right corner on floor. Inspected and other than a paper towel with a few drops there was no signs of a leak under unit. FC no ice on bottom from frozen evap. Pulled unit out and found vent for cond fan clogged with dog hair. Pulled back panel and drain tube and it was clogged with wet dog hair as well. Cleared yube with hot water. no sign of leak from wal valve. One of 2 things. FC evap froze over at one point or sides of unit getting too hot from condenser getting hot cause condensation. RC evap and bottom liner were good. Next complaint ice maker clumping since day one. Verified. Ordering control kit per Service pointer, new IM and now RC door gaskets. Needs Lowes auth. Cant reschedule; rqstng P&A on 1 W11533213 (control kit), ordrng 2 W10917313 (gasket-dor)s and 1 W11557001 (ice maker)"

I replaced theevap maotor from pre-id and installed housing properly. Noise definitrly reduced and it now sounds normal. Also CX stated that RC bins do not fit or slide, Inspected those and found the bins and/or slides will not let the drawers slide in and out properly. cx complaint that unit is not heating and turns off usually after 10-15 seconds and then also at times could be 2 mins... i foudn the fan harness pin wasnt in all way ans wsnt running fan while running vausing it to stop and not contuine to heat. and turn off.. i reserted pin and and secured onnection and ran 1:30 mins 3 times and heated and never turned off... told cx to watch over unit and call back if happens again gives call back but today unit is running after repair of fan and checked good. heating running nd not turning off.. cx made me try again on 3 mins same rsults unit heated and completed cycle and no issues to be traced. infromed to just call back if happen ccant replace whats working.

"CX complains after unit electrical was solved unit still not heating. Verified unit is now recieving 241.3vAC from L1 to L2. at outlet. Unit is not recieving 240v to terminal block. Checked thermal fuses cut offs readin o.0-0.1 ohms, element is reading 9.6 ohms and not shorted to cabinet. Called techline and spoke to Chris who agreed that unit receptical is at fault, recieving 240vAC but L2 terminal is not putting out voltage. Reccomend to cx to have a licenses electrican replace outlet. No further work needed."

cx complaint unit producing ice. inspected and found cx presently has VERY large ice chunks in the bin. removed bin and entered diag. ran test 44. after three attempts unit continued to end with 23 designation (switch faulty or motor). removed icemaker cover and found no shorts or breaks in wire harness to icemaker. bin switch and on/off switch both show continuity (when engaged). final check at bottom left door hinge and found several wires damage at the FC door harness. unit would need new FC door (black stainless) to correct issue. quoted cx for repair. cx paid service call and declined moving forward with repair.

"CX complains unit is not making ice. CX states another company has done work on unit within last month. Found unit to not have water in icemaker, no ice in ice bin. FC shows 16*F. Found unit condenser to be completly blocked, was able to remove restriction and restore air flow. Retested temp in FC to ensure temps are dropping, unit dropped to 14.6*F in RC after about 10 mins. Found unit evap harness to be building up frost around defrost thermistor without reading it. Ordering evap harness for use on return, also found right side RC gasket to have failed and will need replaced. Ordering gasket for use on return.; ordrng 1 W11378944 (gasket (blk)) and 1 W11334745 (EVAP Harness)"

arrived and found cx stated unit cooled for less then one day. I filled unit with 140psi of R134A and found a pressure drop of 1-2psi in 2 mins. i found 0 leaks from joints in back. i removed evap cover and sprayed evap and found a leak on the right side of the evap. I then removed the evap and found a large liner failure. exposed wires and all. i called TL they deemed unit unrepairable.

Cx complaint is that the unit is leaking water. upon arrival I found that the unit has the water shut off to it. I turned the water on and heard a dripping noise immediately. I found that the hot water hose is leaking around the collar. I removed the hose and inspected the valve and found no cracks or damage. I reattached the hose and found that the hose is still leaking. I also inspected the drain hose and under the unit and found no other signs of leaks. I informed the cx that the hose will need to be replaced. Unit is functioning as intended. Job complete
