"checked the unit and found that the temps were 0 in freezer and 50 in frdige. checked the coil and found ice formed on the top half and the bottom is just frosty. with the control just being replaced. i dont think the coild was defrosted at the same time. therefore, the defrost cycle was not able to remove all ice in the time durated for a defrost cycle. therefore, i removed all ice from the coil. tested thermistor, control, fan mtor, compressor, etc. all working as designed. advised cx to monitor the unit and to call us if the issue persists."

CX complaint rattling or vibrating noise - refrigerator - rc - when running. Confirmed complaint. Upon arrival checked temps and RC was at 35 and freezer was at 2. Unit was set to 37 in RC and 1 at FC. Sound was coming from the condenser viberating against the cabinet and also found the Discharge line out of compressor hitting another pipe. Added insoluation to condenser and discharge pipes. Noise was gone. Call Whirlpool Techline and spoke with a Rich. He agreed it was not nessesary to replace compressor. Unit is now good

Found unit to not be heating, found unit vent to be completly blocked and having positive pressure at vent. Found upper TCO to have failed and will need replaced. Was able to replace with prei.d part, retested unit and unit now heats, found blockage at flex vent behind unit, cleared blockage and found rest of vent that leads outside to be too long and rough, reccomended to cx to shorten vent and replace with smooth pipe. Unit now works as designed, no further work needed. CX EMAIL CONFIRMED."

"CX complaint is that the unit will not power on / opperate. I was able to find at the power supply and the term block the propper 240 V's , 120 -L1/ 120-L2. I was able to access and test the thermal fuse and found continuity. I inspected the TCO , Cycling thermastat, and heating element and found all to have good continuity. I accessed the control and found the propper 120V's , but no drum light or opperation at the overlay. I wasnot able to find the propper 120V's at L2 on the control board . UNit will need 1 maine control and 1 overlay. I quoted CX for the cost of repair. I collected $139.00 for service charges. cx informed me he is buying new."

"Cx complaint is that the unit is not turning on but the drum light comes on when the door is open. Upon arrival I verified the issue. I tested the voltage at the block and found 123,123 and 246. I then attempted to enter into diag. I access the control and found that both indicator lights are blinking. I found that the console is unresponsive. I replace the console and found that it went thru the initial start up process but would not respond after the wifi process. i then replaced the control. The unit then responded as expected. I tested the unit and found that it is now functioning as intended. Job complete"
