cx complaint unit is not working properly inspected unit found ice in tray cx states it dropped ice Sunday and Monday hasn't dropped since. called whirlpool TechLine had Me do temperature checks units freezer is at 4 Degrees F. Which TechLine states is normal operations. Had Me turn down the freezer a bit more and wants to see if this fixes issue cause the ice maker is working only low production. TechLine states these are stand alone ice makers and rely on the temperature sensor on bottom of the ice maker tray itself. Done as asked informed cx to allow 72 hours to see if the changes effected the ice making process

I tested the unit compressor and is reading about 60 watts. I could not see what is rated to but i thinkn that may be too low. The compressor is making rattle noises. Unit has a bad compressor. "CX Concern the unit locked at some point during cycle after the repair . found wet towels in unit w/ no standing water , unit unplugged.. when plugging unit in the unit goes in lock out mode . pump runs constantly and lid locked .. verified f9e1 error and f3e2 error .. pressure system fault and long drain error .. pump testing fine at 21ohms. no shorted .. unplugged pressure hose/ unit and inspected the harness and hose.. i cant find any damage to either . blew through hose, no restrictions.. got unit to stop lock out after having it unplugged . entered recalibration and unit entered lock out mode again .. when observing bottom end , i found gearoil splatter ..ordering control, harness -lower , gearcase , washplate / nut. nut seized ..; ordrng 1 W11419051 (control) and 1 W11568984 (harness) and 1 W11551646 (nut) and 1 W10752283 (washplate) and 1 W11449841 (gearcase) and 1 2ct (2ct)"

"cx complaint is the unit leaking. cx finds water at the front left after the cycle. when i arrived the floor near the front left of the unit had soap residue on it starting at the left front foot and going out to the left beside the unit. under the rest of the unit the floor was clean and dry. found F5E2 saved. cleared code. ran service cycle, nothing leaked. i inspected bellows and found no tears. removed top and inspected. found some soap/water straining under dispensor. removed dispensor tray and found detergent dried up around front of dispensor and streaks going down left side of front panel as well as down the dispensor hose. the left front shock is also badly corroded from water and detergent getting on it. unit will need dispensor, dispensor hose and shcok for return visit. schedul; ordrng 1 W11524103 (dispensor) and 1 W11316604 (hose) and 1 W11316766 (suspension)"

CX complains after last visit they followed directions and cleaned unit as per techline reccomendation. cx states unit is still staining clothing. called techline due to repeated issues. spoke to Steve who stated cx is introducing stains to unit by pouring fabric softenr directly onto clothing rather than using dispenser. Stains are from concentrated fabric softner being left over on clothing. Cx will need to contact customer service about how to properly wash clothing in unit. no further work needed.

RC thermistor was 11.5khom, FC was 27.5khoms. i removed evap cover and found a great frost pattern. called TL advised i change FC baffle to max, remove some foam on back wall to allow more air to get to thermistor. i did all that. cx to see what happenes. unit checks good."

"F8e1 inlet water error F8e6 flow meter failed Customer complaint after unit is washing for about 20 to 30 minutes in error code is displayed for a bad inlet valve. Arrived today and verified complaint. Found two error codes stored. Cleared error codes and ran test cycle and unit filled with water and started washing properly. error code state that the flow meter is not detecting the proper water flow to know how much water is inside of the unit. If this is not reading properly, this will also further error code for a bad inlet valve. Ordering control board, inlet valve and flow meter for return visit and will replace all three at the same time. I then started a normal cycle with the Load & Go Light on . Soap is Dispensing. Noticed a small leak from the Bellow Seal. Bellow Seal is twisted. Fixed Bellow. Checked for holes. No holes. Tested unit again. No leaks. Unit is working as Designed. ( Advised the cx to make sure that the Load & Go Light is on and is lighting blue before starting a cycle. )
