Customer complaint unit is not cooling correctly. The unit is beeping and the filter wont go in. I check for temps and the unit is reading 41 in the refrigerator set to 32 and freezer is set ti -1 and is reading 11 degrees. Removed evap cover and the fan is not starting. I pushed it with my finger and the evap turned on. but when stops the fan is not starting by it self. I quoted and collected for new evap fan and replace. Unit is now back to normal operations.

complaint is unit not cooling again. found evap iced up again. defrost sensor reads OL again. cx was told by whrilpool that i would show up and decide if she gets a new unit but we all know thats a lie. called techline to document. they had me check connections in wiring harness in rear of cabinet to control board. all connections are plugged in solidly and control is currently getting a signal from thermistors which is in spec.control is sending 5vdc. they said change no parts as its working right now and have cx call back if it quits again and they'll replace the unit. 7733678751 spent 1 hours melting ice and informed cx unit is working and to call back when it quits again.

"cx complaint is poor cooling and unit leaking water onto the floor every night. unit is set to recomended in fridge, 1 setting cooler than recomended in freezer. my prob shows 39/0. i found some ice on floor of freezer. tested IM. it did not leak when fillling. inspected evap and found tray full of water. tray is not draining. removed all ice. blew steam through drain. still wont clear. removed drain tube from rear of unit, not clogged. i can not stick a screw driver through the drain. its clogged where it goes through cabinet. looks like foam inside tube but i can not push through it at all to open the drain. called techline to document. they labeled unit nonrepairable. 7733677958. informed cx whirlpool will be in contact."
