"AIG WASHER LOUD GRINDING NOISE. Talked with cx and cx is saying that when the unit is in spin, you can hear a loud roar from the basement. I inspected the unit and spun the unit by hand and can hear the bearings sounds. Not a normal sound, but very loud. The pitch never changes if you spin the basket forward or backwards. No oil or grease is seen at this time. I also removed the belt from the motor to be certain that gear case needs to be replaced. Cx also said that she and her husband read the use and care guide. "cx complaint bellow full of mold, hot water not working and unit not draining well. inspected unit and verified complaint. ran diagnostics f8e1 long fill, f6e1communication error ccu-mcu, f9e1 long drain, f5e2 door lock error. found very little in drain filter, not enough to slow it down but water pumping out slowly. drain pump getting weak. first test cycle only ran hot valve test for a split second then skipped it. 2nd test cycle it did run but water trickling in. water supply is good. quoted cx 832.00 for replacing bellow, valve and drain pump. cx asked for quote for replacing bellow only, quoted 453.40 and advised it may still give error codes and not work correctly without replacing valve/pump. cx paid 120.00 service call with check#2534 and declined service."

"Per the previouse tech , I was able to access and replace the control and the HMI. I then ra a test cycle and found that the unit powered off during the the cycle. I found the ACU DOA . I found the propper 120 v's at the board , I then ohmed the drain pump at the J10 connector and the pump itself and found 1.4 ohms. I also ohmed the shifter at the J10 and the part itself and found OL. I am ordering 1 Control (W11543998), 1 lower harness (W11591637), 1 drain pump (W11399437), and 1 shifter (W11481722). I called WP Tech Line and explained my findings . Please see SR # 7733734003. "cx complaint is the unit not running for more than a second or 2. confirmed complaint. set unit for 30seconds. after 1-2 seconds it beeped like the cycle had completed. no error codes displayed. outlet is properly wired, supplying 121vac. tried running unit with turntable off, same issue. fan runs with no problems. no damage to control, harness or any part i can see. i put the unit back together and restored power. tested unit and it worked properly. tested unit a dozen times for different amounts of time, unit worked properly every time. connection on the board may have been loose. was going ot document with techline but after 20min on hold i gave up. unit is working as designed."
