Technical Service Pointer #: W11606409. S84638. Customer complaint units right door is not closing correctly. I tested the unti and fpound the unit is cooling the door is bouncing back. I adjusted hinge and adjusted gasket. The door is closing is self closing. The door pops open when the left door is closed. But thats just air pressures. the extra pressure that is created when the door is close will try to come out somwhere so the right door will pop iopen and that happens on any whirlpool french door. Called tech line, spoke to Robert (sr # 7733797034) , he said the burn on the waive guide should not be a problem since we don't have a F1E6 error but he advised to replace the cover. "I was able to access and replace the evap cover. I then fou nd that the the Evap drain line was clogged and filled with water. I fou d that the upper evap insulation was faulty causong small bites of styrofoam to be washed down the evap drain ltube. I attempted to clear the tube with a thin wire. I was aonly able to push the wire down 6 inches and when pulled out no styrofoam came with. I called WP Tech Line and explained my findings. I spoke to J.R., TL has deemed the unit to be nonrepairable due to not being able to access the RC evap drain tube to clear it. Please see SR # 7733802127"

"Cx complaint that the unit is having trouble dispensing crushed ice and leaks from the fron left corner. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. I found the augor motor is stripped and the drive shaft is stuck in the augor motor. I will have to cut the drive shaft to remove the augor motor. The unit will need a new FC door to resolve the issue, because I don't have enough room to cut the drive shaft and it is not seperate with channel locks or vice grips. I called techline about how to locate and remove the augor motor. The water is leaking from the union connector elbow at the bottom of the FC door. I'm ordering a new connector for the return visit.
